A grand total of 3 interception and 2 forced fumbles in his career at FSU.

An average of 1 interception and 0.66 forced fumbles per season.

I love almost everything about Ramsey.... having said that the lack of forced turn-overs is eye-opening for a DB that is supposed to be a top 5 talent.

Turnovers matter in the NFL.

Look at the video above he had atleast 4 balls he could of caught for ints... He said it himself in interviews that he dropped a few. Him and Jones together would be an awesome saftey tandem

Like I said I think there is a ton to like about Ramsey.

Having said that you are deluding yourself with "look at the balls he dropped that could have been INTs" statements. You can pretty much say that all about all DBs....

Have you ever watched a Bosa interview? Here you go.. watch as much as you can stomach. But quiet honestly, you're wasting your time.. we aren't drafting this bonehead.

If interviews were a good indication of on field success I might be swayed. But they are not. I can think of quite a few guys that interviewed poorly and had great careers.

First of all, most years I am firmly against taking a running back high in the draft. I agree that you can find solid contributors at literally any point in the draft and we have an offensive line that can turn even average runners into superstars

This is not most drafts. We have a top 5 that will likely consist of a combination of couple quarterbacks that have each have huge question marks. A DE that doesn't grade out as an elite pass rusher and a secondary player without an exact position or an interception. We also have an injured linebacker getting some consideration. The best pure prospect is at a position we don't need(OL).

Besides Tunsil, how many of these players do you consider prospects that can be among the best at their position? How many of these prospects would have been considered top 5 or even top 10 players in previous years. Maybe Ramsey but besides that, I don't know if any of these guys sniff the top 10 in many previous draft years.

This is a strange draft on the top end by all measures and that is not disputable. Behind this OL, Zeke is a player that can be the best at his position for many years to come. He is more talented than Demarco Murray and will see more pro bowls than any other player we draft at number 4 behind this OL. He would make the defense better, he would make Tony Romo better. We would instantly have a better offense and defense with the addition of an elite runner and we would have the best running back game in the NFL waiting for our next QB to take over in 2-3 years.

bosa would of been a top 10 pick if he came out last year.

Without a chance at Goff or Wentz, Elliot is a more reasonably pick, IMO.

I would probably still go with the highly rated DB over the high rated RB, but at least it would be classified as "stupid" now that the QBs are out of the picture.

I am late replying to this thread but , the thre in consideration: Ramsey,Bosa and Elliott

Ramsey is my favorite but I can see him gone to SD.
Bosa checks most the boxes except value
No one denies Elliotts value

Your reading more value into it than is likely lots of analysts see more valve in Ramsey, Bosa, or others than see it your way. Name me five NFL analysts that have Elliott top five.

Would you still want Zeke at 4 if you knew Garrett would give the same number of reps to Morris and/or McFadden this season?

Yes. When you draft players you get them for more than one year. I'd say this is probably McFaddens last season here and besides, I think the cream will rise to top and Elliot would be the #1 back sooner than later.

They were close...
They usually are. The 10 highest scoring teams in NFL history all made the playoffs. But the only one that won a Super Bowl was the one with the best defense. The non-champion that came closest to winning it all was the one with the 2nd-best defense.

If anybody's curious, the Rams' average offensive possession lasted 2:47 the year they won the Super Bowl. Last year, the Cowboys' average offensive possession lasted 3:00.

I've seen top five ratings several places. That aside this draft is a Swiss cheese draft and values are, less numerical. here's some top 10
Even NFL Draft experts approve of Ezekiel Elliott as a top-10 pick

LOL. Not so much. He's not going to add much to our TOP. We have had good TOP last two yrs without Zeke. Love Zeke but he will not go at 4.

If he turns out to be a great player, who cares where he was drafted. Some people are putting too much emphasis on value. But, you don't know value until they play the game in the NFL...and by then, no one cares where he's drafted....LOL!

If you have found ratings that place him going top five in the draft why not post them ? I can post ALOT of places where he is rated between 7-15 range you will get no argument from me there. But he WILL NOT be BPA at 4. It's just not going to happen. All the wishful thinking in the world will not make it come true.
