he made little impact and him having his best games while the defense as a whole was having terrible games shows that.
Logic isn't exactly your best strong suit.

It's amazing that you think you've actually made some kind of point here.
Those tackles were 10 yards down the freaking field. the guy had no tackles of a loss the entire season. and we all know he cant tackle my grandmother. get out of denial, and face the fact that the guy is flatout terrible and has to go.

It's not worth the time trying to explain anything to a 5 year old.

Hes not terrible hes just average.

Hes not worth the investments thats been spent on him.

He definetely was at one point.

If he has another season like last year I think Dallas will cut him.

oh ok well let's look at tackles since that's all you apologists can cling on these days. here are his best games tackle wise

week 1 vs NY -9 tackles while the defense gave up 35 points.

week 5 at Buffalo -9 tackles defense gave up 3 points i believe.

week 10 at NY -10 tackles defense gave up 20 points

week 11 vs Washington - 10 tackles defense gave 23 points and over 300 passing yards.

week 17 at Washington - 9 tackles defense gave up 27 points.

so other than the Buffalo game(against a rookie qb) Roy had his best games when the defense was bad and sometimes at there worst. so while him and the rest of the secondary can't cover those games he had his best games tackle wise. big impact baby!

If roy doesn't tackle them who will? So when the defense was poor his solid play kept us in the game. I see your logic w/o average safties would have had at most 6 tackles in any of thos games you listed so what is your point.

how do you figure that? my point is when he had his best tackle games i'm sure give or take 3 per game were after the opposing team got a 1st down. his solid play? where's his solid play when everybody else is playing well? he should be playing just as solid if not better when the rest of the team is playing well. this guy went from a playmaking safety to a tackler.

Was Julius our leading rusher? Did Jacques Reeves lead in incomplete passes?

No?

Oh, okay...well Roy led the team in solo tackles.

That wasn't the claim. The claim was that he did something in every game to help up win.

And I pointed out how lame a claim that was.

He made a play that contributed to us winning in every game last year.

Really?

On 12/23 we beat Carolina.

What exactly did Roy do in that game?

Yep...

We can find guys who can come in and be average for a lot less money.

And I pointed out how the context of his contributions as compared to the other players show that it wasn't lame.

Fine. Now show me how he helped us win against Carolina and I'll let you off the hook.

Why? What's the point?

By the way, I was responding to the question, "When was the last time he contributed to a win?"

Lame questions beget lame answers, perhaps?

You seem to be debating something here that isn't even part of the equation.

I won't deny the fact he feels the criticism. He's not quite that unintelligent. In fact, he's one of the most hyper-sensitive Cowboy players of all time. Why would it be shocking that he feels it? Someone could look at him strange and he'd react.

Think back to his temper tantrum with Jean-Jacques Taylor a few years ago. This is not a new thing. I know I am not shocked at all. It is what he does.
No I'm not, you just assumed something right off the bat. Look at my very first post and the portions I was quoting. It should be perfectly clear what I was addressing and continue to address.

In our defense most of the plays being made are come from the OLB. Either DWare or Ellis more DWare than Ellis. Our defense has 6 pro bowlers on the team it is easy to overlook some one value to the team when they are not making those huge bone jarring hits that end up on SC.
