They shut down schools here also. Just a few inches of snow but very cold and dangerous wind chills with white out conditions. Last I checked it was 4 degrees and the wind chill was -24. Two days ago we set a record high of 72. Kansas weather......ChldsPlay;3829017 said:Looking forward to the blizzard here today. Got off of work, which is awesome.

I didn't know it could snow upside down.

Just reminded me to call my Mom. I'm sure she's at home, but I'll give her a buzz when I leave the office.ABQCOWBOY;3829174 said:Yep. Keepen the brass monkeys in tonight. I'm telling you, it is cold. Brought a bottle of water with me, into work today. Left it in the truck and sure enough, just went out to get it and it was already freezing over. This is real bad for the old folks. If you have somebody close to you who is elderly or maybe your parents, best be sure to check in on them and make sure they are OK. Sometimes they may need a little help and by the time they realize it, it might be too late.
Just some thoughts.
