Woodson: The guys believe in Dak more than they every believed in Romo

I would be curious to see how many of Romo's pick 6 INTs were because the WR screwed up and could have caught it? It would be difficult to prove, but an interesting stat.

If Prescott plays the same amount of time he's on pace to match Romo's career pick 6 INTs.
Well then, for those who think a pick 6 makes a QB worse than a regular interception, this is bad news.

That's what I don't get. It's an interception either way. It doesn't change the quality of the throw, if it gets returned for a TD.

You mean the bad throw is the same bad throw regardless? I would agree. The INTs returned for a TD may muddy the perception.

Woodson has no angle here. He's out of the game. He's just telling what he knows.
You really think so? He's got some agenda working here, not sure what it is but he's way out of school even addressing something he was and is not a part of since 2004. I am a real Woody fan and am disappointed he would even bring this up. What exactly is he trying to accomplish? Is he this jealous of Romo? Prescott's contract has nothing to do with Romo.

If I recall right, Darren Woodson was actually on the 2003 Cowboys roster with Romo as a backup QB?

Eerie that a holdover from the 1990s dynasty would (briefly) overlap on the team roster as the same time as Romo.

Right. Romo wasn't even the QB yet.

This will be an epic thread. I’m talking ‘War And Peace’ stuff here.

Not just epic, but the opening line of War and Peace couldn't have summed this thread up any better.... “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”

If you like stats, he's tied for 19th all time in game winning drives, which seems contrary to this opinion.
Let's see...

In 11 starting seasons (14 seasons total as a pro/Cowboy), Romo had:

6 playoff games - full playoff gamelogs · 24 comebacks, 29 game-winning drives - full summary

In not yet completed 3 starting seasons, Dak has:

1 playoff game - full playoff gamelogs · 7 comebacks, 13 game-winning drives - full summary... with at least a 2nd playoff game already scheduled 2 weeks from now, the potential for more playoff games to be accrued this 3rd season, and the potential to pad up his game comebacks and game-winning drives before Dak's 3rd season comes to an end.

I'd say it's looking pretty good Dak's comeback numbers and game-winning drives will surpass Romo's when it's all said and done. ;)

I'll take Dak!

Yeah, The WR's early in the year believed in Dak - sure they did!

Woodson is a joke! That is a joke of a statement as well!
