Ok, but in my defense I WAS typing on a Blackberry and I was more focused on hitting those little keys rather than creating paragraphs. However, I apologize. Hey, at least I know the difference between "then and than" :)

I don't...then I must go and than learn the difference at some school.

My answer is the same as it was in the other thread.

Eli has a SB ring.

Tony has nothing. Tony has done nothing with the opportunities he's had with the Cowboys. Every year it's the same ole thing. Mistakes!

Until he can prove he is able to take the next step and guide this team to SOMETHING I'm taking Eli.

I don't think anyone, even the Romo haters, ever HONESTLY believed Eli was better than Tony. Romo is an easy target playing the most glamorous position on the most glamorous team in all of sports. If he doesn't win the Super Bowl and win the MVP EVERY year, someone will say "he's overrated" or " he sucks". Now, give Eli credit for putting together a really nice post season in 2007. He played really well. However, having said that, he has been average to below average for the rest of his career. He was possitively aweful in the playoffs in 05, 06 and 08. No, only someone who wants to start an argument would say "I'll take Eli over Romo". Me personally, the only QBs I would even consider over Romo are Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. JMO

Which one has a Super Bowl victory and which one has never won a play-off game?

As it stands that is all that matters and all the rest is jibber-jabber.

Eli vs. Marino

One won a SuperBowl and one didn't. Who's the better qb?

You know, my (Giants fan) boyfriend uses this logic all the time. It never fails to piss me off.

Yes, Eli has a ring. So does Brad Johnson. Is Brad Johnson a better QB than Tony Romo? Having a SB ring =/= Great QB

Soooo, Romo = Marino?
Is that your logic?

Simple answer- until Romo wins a playoff game,
then Eli is the better quaterback. I don't care how many
miraculous manuevers he makes.
Win a fricken big game when it matters- period.

You wanna compare equals, how about Marino vs Montana?
NOW, who would you rather have.

Ummmm, I'll take the proven winner, not the stat stuffer.
Give me the winner (Montana), every time.

don't worry about it. My new friend hates the Cowboys. He's a 49er fan.

I'm dumbfounded. If logic could die, this post would be its final resting place.

I think bbgun is available IIRC.

As a matter of fact, I think he's outside your house, staring in your window.

Right
