Not only are wins a QB stat, wins are the most important QB stat. Most important are wins in big games. There are a few exceptions when teams have a great defense like the Bears or the offense of the 90s super bowl Cowboys.
The QB touches the ball on every offensive play. The QB audibles, the QB progresses through his reads. The QB sets the tone early, score early and get the lead. The QB knows when to go hurry up and when to slow it down. The QB has to be clutch on 3rd down. The QB has to know when to take a sack, when to not risk a turnover. The QB has to know how to respond on offense when the defense is off. The QB processes input from the players in the huddle. Needs to know who is hot, who is not. The QB controls the game more than any other player.
QBs who do the above well will have winning records. QBs who consistently do the above are elite.
Dak is not elite. His most elite season was his rookie year when the team leaned on Elliott and the OL. Dak only drove the bus that year.
You mention one game, the Cleveland game. Care to look at the other 4 games? How about the last 4 years?
Wins are not a QB. Wins are used by pundits who do not watch games or just want to defend a player who is not playing well. Show a better football IQ then that. Being low football IQ is not really a good thing.
Wins are no more a QB stat then a RB stat or G stat or DT stat. They are a TEAM stat. The QB does not play for half the game and has nothing to do with half the game. He does not throw it and catch it. This is why there are better stats to analyze QBs. When Drew Brees was 7-9 he was not a worse QB than Alex Smith. Wins are often correlated with being a good QB, as QB is the most important position, but they are not a relevant QB stat anymore than tackles would be. You have TONS of good QB stats. You have the basic yards, completion %, TDs, INTs, INT %. Then you have the advanced metrics which can tell you even more. There is no need to use a stat that is effectively
Also if we want to talk the other games. In the first 4 games they scored: 17, 40, 31, 38 (also I believe 23 in the first half against Giants but I cant remember if Dallas scored again before he got hurt). They only won the game they scored 40 and if you need 40 to win you are not going to win much all. The league average is around 25-27 points, but somehow the Dallas Cowboys have not won a game where they did not score 30 since 2018. That is insane when you compare it to the rest of the league. For the good teams they are able to pull out the occasional 17-9 win because there are weeks that are going to be defensive struggles.
Focusing on the first 4 (also easy to do math) Dak had 9TDs 3 INTs, and INT % of around 1.8% (lower than league average though its lower than this), 1600+ yards, with an 8.4 yard average completion. This is despite numerous injuries to the OLine that created a lot of problems.
