Possible 10-15 years of .500 football when Dak's gone

Retired Tom Brady had almost 4700 yards and 25 TDs. He put up 350 and 2 TDs against us. What the defense did well was keep them out of the endzone. I know it pains you to give Dak any credit but try being objective.
Sure, he can have his flowers for that game but what did he do the next game?

Then he proceeds to have the worst first half of a playoff game at home against gb right?
I’m not about to spend another day with you on this. Discussion over!

Yea that would explain the entire half of football where the QB helped the opposing team to 14 points while our team put up an awesome 0 points on the board. He certainly showed up.
It was 27-7 at the half, so the Cowboys were not scoreless in the 1st half like you claimed. And the 14 the offense gave away would still have been manageable with help from the defense.

Instead, the defense gave up an 8 minute, 65 yard opening drive for the Packer's 1st score. The Packer's 3rd score was on a 5+ minute 93 yard drive. You have to blame the defense for both of those

In short, the offense & defense shared equal blame for the bad 1st half.

As for the second half, the Cowboy defense gave up TD's on drives of 65 yards, 65 yards and 60 yards. The Cowboy defense gave up long drive after long drive after long drive.

In short, while the offense unquestionably got off too a bad start, the Cowboy defense never showed up at all.

The offense functioned correctly against Tampa and good thing it did because we gave up 350 yards passing and 2 TDs to Brady. You don’t seem to recognize the defense being a problem because you haven’t brought it up until now. You’ve been defending the defense and pointing the finger entirely at Dak.
We can’t always play a team with a losing record in a he playoffs like TB though.

So your telling me for the past 3 playoffs, Its ok that the offense doesn't do anything but hold hands and hope the DEF can stop someone? How bout putting up a fight and actually scoring?
Hard to score in the playoffs if you don’t have a running game isn’t it.

Or a QB that does not freak out when the big boys come to play.
8 years maybe except for a couple of wins in 2016 (a LONG TIME AGO) he has failed to produce when it mattered the most!
From the game in Philly for the division title to the playoffs the Deer in the Headlights takes over and man it does get ugly.
You can see it in his eyes.............he's confused and defeated.
Then the 4th Q comes around the defense is in Prevent or playing subs and he pads his Garbage stats so his man crushes can brag about his stats.
This will end up being his Legacy...............as there are no glory moments to talk about with him under center!!

Yeah, and the defense freaking out when early in the 1st qtr Dak gives the ball back two times right away. They sat on the bench and thought "we are tired" of this crap.
Yep, they had seen this before in both Niner games the Chiefs game, etc, and figured why even try as Deer in the Headlight can't score the points.

Based on the past 8 years, I believe Dak has hit his ceiling. And my opinion is just as valid as any other opinion posted here. OP's 10-15 year statement is his opinion, goofy as I believe it is, it's his opinion also.
Rockport's is indeed goofy...add on foolish-flaky-dopey-crazy.

As I commented on in an earlier post in this thread - the Cowboys' longest stretch of losing plus .500 seasons was six - when the franchise first started playing in the NFL ____ 1960-65.

Since then, the Cowboys' streaks of losing + .500 seasons have been:
1986-90___five years
1999- 2002____ four years
2010-13___four years

I told my wife if I start panicking while I'm eating and I thump my chest 3 times kiss my fingers and point to the ceiling while holding up four fingers, it means I'm choking.
