St. Brown signing is not the starting point. Lamb is the better receiver. Contract negotiations will start significantly higher in compensation and other terms for Lamb than where St. Brown and Detroit's ended in agreement.He's right. St Brown just signed what stacks up as well or better than what Hill got, who was the highest paid WR at this point.
Lamb is better than St Brown. Hence RJs point, St Brown just made Lamb more expensive.
It would be a starting point if Lamb and Jones' negotiations opened with and at St. Brown's final contractual numbers. I would agree if the starting point should be equated as the gap between what St. Brown numbers stopped and where Lamb's initial numbers will start.
