Nakobe Dean Snub

But we're talking about a player choosing the raiders over the Cowboys so what relevancy does that have if neither team has had any success in the past 30 years?

It doesn’t. I’m not saying it does. I’m saying the cowboys are on the same level as the raiders anymore.

While there's much truth in what you say, we dont know this is why. Not everything is state of the union.
Not saying it is.

But when you couple players opinions after leaving with the countless FAs who take less to go somewhere else. Its very telling.

I was referencing SB wins not Sb appearances when I said drought. I don’t think any of it matters. I don’t think Nakobe chose them because of their rich history or last SB appearance. At the end of the day Demario Davis could’ve went to any contender. He chose Jets. Lamb could’ve chose any team and went to the Cowboys in free agency.

If you pay the money they will come. I don’t think it’s one team a player won’t go to if they overpay for them.

I don’t think he chose them for their history either. What I’m arguing is. The cowboys are not anymore enticing to free agents than any other franchise. Not anymore.

From everything I read your facts are off and probably purposely misleading to make a better "anti-Cowboy story". Our offer was not better, it was "similar", meaning it was less. He signed where he got the most money.

Best thing for Dallas is he is just part of the group of guys leaving Philly or unhappy with the culture there. They are falling like a rock. Stoudland leaving after realizing where they are headed is the story. That's gonna hurt
Our offer was right there with what the Raiders offered. I mean he stated he wanted to go wherever Walker went. So he did. Pretty simple.

Sorry lion I am missing something - are you saying the Cowboys are on the same level of comparison as the raiders now or that the raiders are a more favorable location for players

No problem Jipper, I’m saying that we are about the same level now. Unfortunately.

There's rumors swirling that Dean turned down an equal or slightly better deal from Jerry to go with the Raiders. Does Dean believe there's more of an upside with the Raiders than here? I know our 30 year history doesn't exactly promote confidence in our team or Jerry. Maybe we're relegated to shopping off the clearance rack....
He wanted to play with Quay Walker his former teammate

We would never be surprised if any of our players bolted for a team that has a better upside than us, so why would we be shocked if any player didn't want to come here? Any player that leaves here talks about what a joke we are.
I want a guy that wants to be here anyways. Players that gossip AFTER they leave shows me who they are. Give me players that show me who they are on game day. Ones that say little but show up big.

This is not hard to understand. Money being the same, he preferred playing alongside his college teammate Quay Walker and not having to play against his old team twice a year. Makes perfect sense.
He stated such. Exactly. There's no there there. Not sure why fans make this a story. It really isn't.

The reason is called money. I read that the Eagles didn't want to pay him what he wanted due to his injury history. Evidently Jerry was willing.
It's more that the Iggles had little cap wiggle room. And Jihaad Campbell is an on-roster replacement.

Could literally be anything. You may have nailed it. If that was the case, Dallas would be well within their right. Nothing wrong at all. No conspiracy. No undercurrent of wrongdoing.
And no over pay. They should be able to get a veteran linebacker from somewhere and draft a good one.

Guys. Relax. Its mid March. Lol. We still have the draft and June 1 cuts. We always see some really good players we never expected to be on the market come june1-2. Its the next wave of free agency essentially.

Oh I never thought they were….when did you feel this way? I just always felt guys went to the team who paid them the most.

We’ve said this for 4 years lol probably longer. This team isn’t getting much better based on cuts. Maybe trade.
