I just got the alert on my BR app. Looks like he's safe despite the outcome of SNF.

For real... Bleacher Report app? LOL.
Gosselin said on Norm's show this morning that he thought Garrett saved his job with the Washington win, that we could get blown out 44-10 Sunday night and it wouldn't matter. Considering what others posted above, I wonder if he heard something.
Gawd I hope he's wrong though. Even the Campo era only lasted three years, and that was with no talent.
I can't argue either of those points. And yeah, you could have put me in the "Garrett Groupie" category before this year. But my faith has dissolved. I admit that when I heard the news about Romo yesterday, the thought that this would give Jerry an excuse to keep Garrett went through my mind. My point is, though, we make such a big deal about getting rid of Garrett, I think with the false premise that the next guy, whoever he may be, will be better, and run a more successful team. I don't buy into that. If you were to ask me whether I think Garrett has been a success or a faliure to this point, I'd have to go with failure. However, I think every bit as much, he's been put in a position to fail, and I have a hard time seeing any coach overcoming that. I would love to think that a guy like Gruden, or Wisenhunt, or Lovie, could be significantly more successful in this environment. I just think that Jerry has become the next Al Davis, and that's too much to overcome.
Nope. I didn't see it that way.
i never said that, if you have a different opinion that is fine
here is what you posted
"MichaelWinicki said: ↑
Yeah.
What's the other choice?
Fetal position."
basically saying that there is no point
I am not sure I would call the NO game a quit, but I would definitely say the team quit in that game before I would say they quit in the Philly game in '08.
Any good organization doesn't change coaches every 2-3.
I don't know if I can take another year of all this stacking and processing.
Today's NFL isn't how it was a decade ago, you don't need 3 full offseasons to rebuild.
Garrett was totally out of excuses, one game away from being the offensive coordinator in Cincinatti (if he was that lucky) or something, then this happens with Romo's back. Unbelievable.
Too much to overcome? So we just accept Garrett as coach for life? Nonsense. There are always coaches who are capable of coaching in meddlesome situations. We saw it with Gruden in Oakland. Ultimately he got fed up and left but he built that last Raiders Super Bowl team. The right personality coach can be successful here. This is the Dallas Cowboys. It's not like nobody wants this job. This is THE NFL job regardless of what he media tells you. It's like managing the Yankees.
There are a lot of organizations and fanbases that disagree with you.
Tell that to a Browns, Dolphins, Lions, Vikings, Rams, Bills, *insert sad sack franchise here* fan and be prepared to be punched in the face.

This is the Dallas freaking Cowboys were talking about, except for Miami's undefeated season, none of these teams have the history that the Cowboys have
Yes, he's won nearly 30 games and never made a good decision. Put the whiskey down, clown.
8-8 the last two seasons blah blah blah....I hope people (this is asking a lot I know) can look beyond the simple record and see improvements where they have been made.
Wow, talk about hyperbole and exaggeration. "Nearly" 30 games? If you count the two games per season that Garrett is known to throw away, then we'd be 10 and 6 in each season and playing for the playoffs three years straight as NFC East Champs. I have to give you credit though....you are certainly looking at things from a new and unique perspective. Hey, Dave Campo was nearly .500 as a HC with no franchise QB and minimal talent on the roster. There, that sounds better.........
I had no idea so many people on this board had trouble with adverbs. I shouldn't be surprised, though. I did the rough math in my head and didn't want to be erroneous. He's won 29 games, happy now Einstein Jr?
From a personnel standpoint we are younger, faster and i'd argue much better. .
at least he (and others of us) will not be standing out in the storm trying to convince everyone the sun is out
