On his way to Nashville Commanders made offer the titans weren't per paired to match. Titans then canceled interview and hatcher is now on his way to wash. He didn't sign anything just agreed to terms.

Sounds like Commanders over paid for a 32 year old dl

Thank goodness we have Mincey and McCain under contract now, we were going to have to put some TE's on the DL

why do people insist that one has ANYTHING to do with the other? it was already said melton was in play but they were waiting to see what hatcher did. the other players we're getting are NOT set to replace ware, we're just getting who we can with what we have. we KNEW this going into the offseason, yet the hate and anger is there in several posters every statement.

highly annoying.

I wasn't hating, and I know the situation. It's just that McClain/Mincey sound just like Drake Nevis/Jarius Wynn last year. Sorry if I annoyed anybody. Having said that, I REALLY want Henry Melton on this team, bum knee and all, for many reasons:

1. Hatcher had one foot out the door since last year. He was never coming back.
2. There's no guarantee the Cowboys draft Aaron Donald or any other viable DT option, and could they start right off anyway?
3. Right now Dallas has McClain, Nick Hayden, Ben Bass, and Frank Kearse at DT. That's scary.

It sucks we gotta see twice a year, but I'm glad we didn't give him a 4yr deal. That is smart business, but I'm curious to see how we gonna fill the void.

It's down to Donald or Melton to have any chance at the division this year. And I'm glad we didn't try to match that deal.

Yes they did. Why did you say they didn't? Lucky for Jerry he apologized to Ware. Thus Ware declined all offers from NFC East teams. If the Dallas FO handled Ware correctly, there would be no need for an apology and Ware thinking about joining an NFC East team. Say what you must about how great the Cowboys FO is. My opinion differ. Ware's case was handled poorly and were lucky that it turned it out the way it did in the end.

to mlol ok. he went to den for money and a shot at the super bowl. and not once have i said how great our fo is. i think they are bad and jj is horrible but im just not gonna make stuff up just to have a reason to bash them. he was cut. ware got his panties in a knot because of comments at a combine. as far as the apology people do it all the time just to make someone happy. You married? lol I know i did many times to my wife justove on. lol

all good man. there's just a handfull of posters who in every thread insist on getting shots in and i let it get to me when i should just keep on shoving them to ignore. sorry for the harsh tone.

You can't possibly think that we need Donald or Melton specifically to win the division...

4 Years 27.5 Mil.. wayyyy too much for him. Makes me happy actually that the Commanders continue to make bad signings.

Oh NO WAY!!!!!!! OMG........they can have him @ that price. That's almost 7 mil a year.......For some reason that cheers me up. Watching the Commanders over pay = priceless

He dominated under the 4-3. Don't know why he'd go back to a 3-4 defense. Guess it was all about the $$$$. Bad career move.

not a bad career move at all, im guessing the Commanders are the one who offered more , its going to be his last contract so hes going to whoever pays more
