Ravens are a team with not much fire power.

If Dallas gets a lead and stops them we will most likely go up 2 scores and we will batter them around the rest of the day.
Exactly. If the Cowboys don't turn the ball over we should be ok.

I was
Lol. Look at who they have played. All the teams with decent offenses beat them. They have played Cleveland twice Pitt with Ben coming back from injury, jax.
going to say, how are they the #1 defense and 5-4.And they lost to the Giants who have no running game to speak of.

The Ravens defense is really good. They see blood (weaknesses) they attack it like a bunch of hyenas. The defense is similar to the Eagles. The Cowboys can wear them down as long as they do what they are doing. The Cowboys defense could have a field day. The Ravens offensive line is struggling.

They might have a good defense, but if our defense can get off the field on 3rd down, eventually their defense will get tired and then Zeke will start gashing them.

Who have the Ravens played and shutdown when the opposing offense was having a good day? I do not see what all the fuss is about.

The only teams that played them and beat them all had mediocre at best running games, NYG, Philly, Raiders, The jets and the Jets had best rushing attack of all the teams they played. Pitt has a good ground game but hobbled Ben, the ravens made him try to beat them on one leg so they loaded up on the run. Buffalo has an avg QB so Shady did not get a lot of room (watkins was already thinking about his rehab). Jax is Jax so, Cleveland twice, Raiders are probably wishing they had DMC back, Wash is hot and cold running, NYG have RJBC (Running JAGs By Committee),

Is that true. We've really never beaten the Ravens.

It is true. 3 of the 4 have been in Baltimore. Dallas has never played the Ravens when they (Cowboys) are having a good season.

The following is a list of all regular season and postseason games played between the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens. The two teams have met each other 4 times, with the Dallas Cowboys winning 0 games and the Baltimore Ravens winning 4 games. Baltimore Ravens lead series 4-0-0.

Well we only play them once every 4 years and they have not been around that long. I can't ever remember beating them. We coincidentally played them both years they won the Super Bowl. They smashed us in 2000. We all remember 2008 and the final game at Texas Stadium. 2012 was a disaster at the end of the game and the missed FG. 2004 I think they blew us out as well.

At one time the Packers had the #1 rush defense....till they met the "Great Wall" and "Zeke".
Packers are obviously not the team every thought they were in week 4 or 5. The ravens have been playing good defense all year, I think their defense should be given respect

I got us winning this game big, 28-10. I already showed how they haven't shut down a good offense that had a healthy QB.

The only Ravens game I remember was when Vinny Testeverde got hurt and Drew Hensen came in a drove us down and scored a TD. Then Drew played the first half if the thanksgiving game against the Bears. I guess I blocked the other games out of my mind.

They've faced Jets, Browns twice, Jacksonville, and Buffalo

The toughest opponents they faced were Oakland, Washington, and Giants. Derek Carr threw 4 TDs and 0 INTs, Cousins had 260 yards passing with a TD and an INT, Eli Manning threw for over 400 yards against them and 3 TDs.

Meh.

I feel like this team has our homefield advantage back that we haven't had since moving to the new stadium. We got 4 more at home and only 3 on the road. But we're good on the road too. I think 6-1 or 5-2 is very achieveable which should get us Homefield throughout the playoffs. If that happens and we get to the Super Bowl the team never has to leave Texas again because it's in Houston. I think we lose one of the Vikings or Giants and on the last week hopefully we sit players because we wrapped up homefield and lose against the Eagles.

How many "first real tests" have we had so far. Bengals, Eagles, Packers, Steelers I all heard as being our "first real test".

As I said I consider anytime a team is on the field that it is a challenge and a test. Games are never won at prediction sights or message boards the team still has to go out and take on the challenge. When I posted this it was not some deal of this is the 1st real challenge it is just the next challenge vs a very good defense. As for their offense Flacco is not having the best of years but he does have some guys who are capable of making big plays in Steve Smith and Mike Wallace. I expect Dallas to go out and take care of business but I don't think this is a cake walk any more than I felt Pitt would be a cake walk. They gave us a heck of a game. Us fans can afford to down play every team the Cowboys face but the Cowboys can't afford to do that
