*** The Dak Prescott Thread **merged**

I will say that not all of it is on Dak, they nerfed the offense in order to protect Bell against a very good eagles front.

A lot of my anti-Cowboys friends / co-workers have been arguing with me the past 2 years that Dak is something of a product of having the best OL and RB in the NFL. I strongly disagreed.

Over the past 2 games Dak has 0 TDs and 3 INTs and while I still don't buy their line of argument, I am pretty disappointed.

I <did> think Dak was the kind of QB who could put an offense on his back. I'm not so sure any more...

Our defense is killing us and it’s making Dak have to play a style of football he’s not ready to play.

That would be back to back bad losses and a 7 yr long trend...but you pretend it is one bad game.

You haven't changed a bit since The Ranch.

7 year long trend? Dak was in high school 7 years ago. If you wanna fire Garrett I'm on board with that.

How much is he going to help if Garrett is still there.

I’m hoping for JG to get canned but QB is a major problem. Dak was fools gold. He’s proving that all year long. His only good games have been the ones where Zeke has huge success and the defense lays off him. He’s not a winning QB, he’s a bus driver that needs a dominant RB and defense. In other words, he’s a backup.

What I see are a bunch of crybabies overreacting to a bad loss. In other words, business as usual.

2nd bad loss in a row. Another lost season with no playoffs. A coaching staff that once again got utterly dominated in the 2nd half this season.

But yeah, those people are overreacting.

When the opponent scores over 30 points, Cowboys are 0-4.

When the opponent scores under 30 points, Cowboys are 5-1.

Yep, clearly QB is the issue.

It’s obvious..

Defense is far and away our biggest problem.

Why are you acting like this is the first time prescott has looked overwhelmed?
Do you love mediocrity?
Three drops on third down in first half (one by each of Dez, Beasley and Williams) one which bounces to the opposition. How much help did he have? I didn't think he was overwhelmed, just struggled. It happens. He's a sophomore.

I dint know about Dak
He needs the chance to prove himself with a real HC not this clown

Not really what I said, I said let’s watch the next four games and see.
I’m typically more then ready to argue it up, but it’s really just not worth it. Dak is a star. If you can’t see that, again it’s not worth the time. Just like homers don’t like Wentz. The guy is a stud. Easy to see.

Dak’s worst game ever. Not worried about him though as we have about 99 other problems right now.

Ironically these last 2 games without Zeke and Tyron have by far the worst he's looked. He looked bad last week but he gets a pass because Chaz Green.

Wentz was 14/27 for 168 yards and 2 TDs, One pass that should have been picked but wasn't.

6.22 YPA is not great. He made a few plays down the stretch but a good QB performance wins this game.
Okay, you're right. But if you look at his games, he takes chances, much stronger arm, much better at maneuvering in the pocket. The one thing I wanted from Dak is to take chances, but when your arm is not very strong, there's nothing you can do.

If you think this is just about Dak you are dumb. When I said 7 years it should have been a clue it is about Garrett and the coaching staff.

In another dimension Romo and Brandon Carr are leading these Cowboys to SB title number 6.

You’ve yet to even form an argument regarding Daks studliness, but here is to hoping you are right even if it’s just blind faith.

Dak had a bad game. The WR's had a bad game. The defense had a bad second half. The Coaches can't coach.

Hes a good backup. Trade him in offseason draft a young QB bring Romo back.

See, that's what people don't understand. A backup QB is supposed to not lose you games (play it safe) but a backup QB sure as heck won't win any games on his arm either..

Sounds like prescott to me.
