Ridley
Payne
Evans
Daniels

I think our pick might be from that group.

Dez was pretty quick as a rookie. He's lost a step or two.

True.
Sutton does smoke him in shuttle 4.11 v 4.48 and three cone 6.11 v 7.21
Bryant slightly faster forty-4.52 vs 4.54 and better vert 38 v 35.5

That's great but IMHO all those guys ceiling is Allen Hurns, not true #1. I just do not believe you spend a premium pick on a guy that will not be a #1 guy.
?
I only listed 1 WR...Ridley.
Payne is a DT.
Evans is a LB.
Daniels C/G.

I truly believe that as of right this moment the Cowboys don't have a clue of who they're drafting.

And I think that remains true right up to their pick.
How, at this moment with the 19th pick, could ANY team know who they were drafting.

Your post has the appearance of wisdom but in reality doesn't offer much.

His 3-cone number is a ridiculous 6.57,the problem is he doesnt show that in games at all.maybe coaches think they can improve his route running but he is nowhere close to Dez as a prospect and he has good character and is willing to learn.

I have seen all types of comparisons on Sutton, ie Art Monk, Irvin for example, call me crazy but he looks like Julio Jones to me

I'm going to say this twice
I am not saying he is Julio
I am not saying he is Julio

but his body type, his movement compares and the ole eyeball test compares to Julio.

Dead on. That 3 cone blew me away, and that kind of quickness at 6'4" 215 is potential dominant #1 type stuff. But it doesn't show up at all on tape.

I am going to save a people alot of time and misery between now and the draft, Sutton will be your first round pick come Draft Day. Book It ! Print It ! Jot it down whatever.

This team telegraphs almost every move it makes, Everyone knew Dez was going to be shipped off once the season ended, in some form or fashion.

So for those who are still holding out hope for OG, LB, and especially a DT don't get you hopes up too high, this team now has to save face for the Dez Bryant saga, and nothing else can make a splash more than taking a WR.

Why Sutton you say? the whole NFL knows this, and Seattle sits there at #18 which btw would love to trade out and get a few extra picks, so don't count on Ridley being there at 19 either, besides Sutton is more in the line of a WR1 that team always covets, big, tall, WR with a big catch radius its a natural fit.

Personally, I feel a good WR will be there in the 2nd, but no way Jerry and Co miss out on the big splash on day one.

Id rather have DJ Moore. He's Jarvis Landry with a jetpack.
He can do everything Sutton Does plus get deep.

I agree, I like Moore a lot, in fact I have him rated higher than Ridley. The mentality of this team has always been the big WR1 who can shield defenders with a big catch radius. I wouldn't mind a shift in philosophy to a more speedy WR in the mold of Brown or even OBJ. my OP was about what I think the team will do.... not what I want them to do, and I still feel Sutton is our guy at 19.

I am depressed after reading this thread. If Dallas doesn't get talent on defense this team is going nowhere fast. Take a WR in the 2nd but not in the first please. DT, LB is what we need in round 1.

I saw Ridley at the top "assumed" it was WR that is the popular thing Dallas needs now.
I should have been a lil more clear.
and I think the pool includes Sutton.
feeling more and more like he might be the pick.

I've been spouting this out for months but the dude looks like a man amongst boys. Maybe he was playing against boys but he's a stud. Haven't seen a better judge of the ball in the air since possibly Moss.

But moire has Beckham qualities with a bigger body. He weighs what Michael Irvin weighed
