I hate having to root for the Broncos but the chick is a huge fan. I’m looking at taking her to see them when they play the Chargers when they come to LA

They keep trying to inflate a flat tire and there are just some ideas that have an expiration date. I believe this is one of them.

Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten and Booger McFarland are trying too hard and I believe it's been impressed on them that this is a desperate situation. ESPN is bleeding from the jugular because of the rights fees and now that the NFL has turned on them and decided to put better games on TNF, this has run it's course.

I grew up with MNF, it was indeed special to me for many years and actually allowed me to get my wife interested by created indigenous dishes for the team we were rooting for but after 10 years, even that went to rest.

When MNF was born, there weren't Thursday college games or NFL ones, the number of college games were 1/3 of what they are today and I wonder if people, not fans of the two teams playing, are "footballed out" by Monday.

I was looking forward to listening to Witten do these games because he is one of my favorite Cowboys ever but he is just terrible as an analyst and I turned the audio off and just put on some tunes for the DEN-KC game. He is actually detracting from the game.

Sometimes, you have an old friend that you've loved dearly, like a good pet, and it becomes evident that it is time to end their suffering. This needs to end.
I just saw 3 local commercials back to back to back and was wondering if they are having trouble selling the time

Greg, you know I am too old to be distracted. I have to tell myself "I am peeing. I am peeing" when I got to the toitoi. Damn, that looks Russian too, doesn't it?
You’d never make it my house watching multiple TV’s with laptop open and iPhone in hand.

I might have my lap open and iPhone in hand but your wife might not like it. But I would help her in the kitchen which is probably more than you do sitting there in sensory overload.

I wonder is the MNF game not as cool or are we just too old to be up late on a Momday night? I wish they would scrap TNF and MNF and do a Friday night game and a Sat night game. I don’t give a crap if it intrudes on high school football, then record the game if your kid has a game. Oh, and scrap sunday night football too.

Due to the Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961 the NFL can not televise games nationally on Friday and Saturday. This law is what people are talking about when they mention the NFL's anti-trust exemption. The law allows the league to sell the Television rights as a single entity instead of the individual teams selling their own rights. The reason they are restricted from Friday and Saturday games is to protect High School and NCAA football. The restriction does not apply to games played after the college football regular season ends.

Exactly..

MNF was great until ESPN got a hold of it.
yeah it should be on network tv, it used to be on ABC.
AND they need better announcers.
The original had 3 that were all great , howard cosell, dandy don, and frank gifford.
back then it was also the only NFL night game

I only watch the cowboy mon night games now, Sunday night game is the new mon night game.
Some dont like chris and al but I do, they are better than most others.

I watch the thur nite games only if teams interest me. and if it is on network tv

But mon nite wont go away, it might leave espn , which could be a good thing

I’m no help in the kitchen . I’m not even allowed to use the stove or oven. Only microwave.

If I cook it has to be outside lol
