The Eagles have better WR's than us?

If you were to rank the top 3 on each, it would likely go:

Cooper
Jeffery
Jackson
Agholor
Gallup*
Cobb

*May be better, but needs to prove it first.

I think that puts the Eagles on top for WR, but if Gallup steps up, then it could be Dallas with the better group.

Was it there number 1, who said he had the best hands in the league and then the most important catch of the season, drop?

I wasn't thinking about Jackson. He's not what he once was, but he does add something to the Eagles argument. Overall you've made a fair assessment I think.

Unless the Cowboys are CLEARLY better, they’ll almost always say Eagles, because it causes debate$!

Did they include TEs, because that's a huge scale tipper.

I wouldn't say "way" better but right now, I'd say the Eagles have a slight edge at WR for this season............. largely because we have two big questions.......... can Gallup take that next step and be a legit #2 (I think he can but as of now he's not proven it) and is Cobb healthy and back into form that made him a really good WR a few years ago?

Now if those two questions come back big yesses, then we can argue ours are better. But until those are answered, I don't think it's crazy to suggest Philly might have better WRs right now.

Now would I take their three over our three? Likely not simply because our top two are 25 years and younger and can possibly get better and their top two are older than dirt and likely aren't going to improve from what they are. But for one year? I can see how some might take theirs over ours.
Its close. I think they are both very good groups. I think we slightly better because right now Cooper may be a better #1 than Jeffery. Hard to tell though because Ertz is the true #1 in Philly. Hard to judge Gallop VS Agholor because Gallop is still developing and we dont know how will play this. I would take Jackson over Cobb by a mile though. Pretty productive last year, and almost 19 yards a catch. He still has it

I rarely watch NFL sports talk on any network anymore. But with the zeke news today i thought i would just stop by ESPN just to see what was being said. They were doing a who's better list at the positions between the cowboys and eagles.

I watched for about 3 min's. They said Wentz has done more than Dak (Has he?) and has way more talent. Now the next one was the kicker for me.

The Eagles have better WR's. Called Nelson Agholor a playmaker and Alshon Jeffery a difference-maker and D JAX is playmaker. Also said Cooper has done good things but the Eagles have better overall talent at the position.

Cooper, Gallup and Cobb? Ill take those 3 any day over the eagles 3. What say you?

The Eagles have better receivers. They do. Wentz has played at a higher level than Prescott. Prescott has been more consistent.

You know after thinking about this, and watching lots of Cooper, and Agholor those guys are interchangeable. Seriously they are very similar receivers, and I'd take either one. We don't have a Jeffery's type receiver anymore that was Dez, and we don't have a Jackson. And you can't discount the new receiver they drafted he looks like a young Jeffery. Then there's Ertz and Dallas at tight end?

That team is stacked so no, we don't stack up well with that receiver group

In all fairness, Gallup has had to try to make plays on poorly and overthrown balls. Pretty sure it needs to be Dak who takes the next step.

It was hysterical today when known Giants fanatic Max Kellerman said Zeke was not one of the top backs in the NFL

Just heard on the radio that the Eagles have made a trade offer for Melvin Gordon.

These guys do the same thing they accuse Dallas fans of doing. They all pick against Dallas, or talk junk about them because it gets publicity. At least done fans are reasonable and can explain the "why" of their opinions. These guys all spout the same rhetoric.

Cooper is the best player in either group, but their top 3 WR are all better than Gallup until he proves otherwise. I also don't know how much Cobb has left in the tank.

Not to mention Ertz who is way better than anything we have at TE.

The Eagles are only better than us at QB, WR, RB, TE, OL, DL, LB and DB. But we have the best long snapper, so it's a wash.

I ertainly wouldn’t trade our WR group for theirs. Ours is better. They’re better at TE and we’re better at RB.

Just heard on the radio that the Eagles have made a trade offer for Melvin Gordon.

They offered Jordan Howard in addition to a mid-round pick and Los Angeles would have been required to swallow part of Gordon's salary.............The Chargers laughed at their proposal................................

Honestly im not sure how you can think this and say it with a straight face. Agholor and Cooper? please say you are just joking.

Dude.

Cooper is much better than Agholor. Agholor struggles as an outside WR which is why he has largely played slot WR the last few years.

Wentz played better the 1st part of Philthy's Super Bowl year ; other than that , he's not only been hurt but has clearly been outplayed by Dak (and their respective won/loss records proves that).

As for Agholor being anywhere near as good as Coop , that's just plain silly....................Not even close............................
