Lots of exciting stuff coming up, Lukin! I just want this damn expansion draft to get over with, we'll likely see very few moves until it's over with. I believe June 16th is the deadline to submit protected players.

I just want to know who they're poaching off the Kings! :(

They have a young stud in Radulov, but he needs help. Price is the best goalie in the league right now (Murray is getting close, tho). They have some good dmen but lack a true number 1. They could go after Thornton to shore up their C depth, but he is about to be 38 and looking for a three year deal.

Lots of fringe top-four D hitting FA this year.

Can't wait for the damn expansion draft to come and go, as we need to add a top-6 fwd to our team.

I checked them out...4th in defense...not enough scoring by the looks of it. The russian is a 30 FA. Price is the only one l've heard of...haha!

I'm not even sure what rules have been set for the expansion draft...I guess all teams are in a similar position, I'm not a fan of these expansion drafts, at least only 1 expansion team has been added.

Your team can protect 7 forwards, 3 defenseman, and one goalie -- or -- 8 skaters and a goalie (i.e. 4 d, 4 fwd, 1 G).

Players with a NMC must be included on the list, but players with a NTC can be exposed.
 
So what would the rest of the NHL do is Ovi pulled a Durant and joined the Pens? BTW, I want him nowhere near my team, but just fun to torment the rest of you. Lol

I understand, now I see why Montreal has been stockpiling goalies. I wonder if Montreal will protect Price? and LA Quick? :thumbup:I am going to assume there is a max amount of players any 1 team can lose.

It's a good way to unload bad contracts, and Vegas will need a bad contract or 2 just to get the the cap floor...

No doubt, Lukin. Both of our studs are staying home. :)

A lot of Kings fans (myself included) are praying Vegas takes Gaborik!
