Aikman's Hatred for the Cowboys...shyaa!!

So funny how Hostile posts pretty concrete EVIDENCE that the "Troy hates the Cowboys!" stuff is complete B.S... and so the cry-babies have to look the other way and pretend they didn't see it. Despite the huge red text.

Troy's about as unbiased as they come... Giants fans last week complained that he was too anti-Giants. Commanders fans this week complained that he was too anti-Commanders.

And of course, we have our own cry-babies here as well who soak their hankies every time Troy does the commentary for a Cowboys game.

OK next game u buy a Jets jersey and hat and go to a Sports bar in town and tell us what kind of perspective u recieved from listening to the game as a Jets fan...

err, I don't need to as I'm not the one that things Troy is anti-cowboys. I can guarantee you that no Commanders, Giants, or Eagles fan is saying that and this guy that claims otherwise is on drugs or something.

Aikman & Buck suck as announcers...they are awful...I've given numerous samples of the suckatude in previous post and will spare you all from a repeat...mute the sound you will enjoy the telecast 100% more...as far as Aikman dissing the boys...just don't see it...he is far too shallow and he is either unable or cannot break down anything but the passing game and he is pretty awful in doing that.

those that enjoy him... I am glad you do but he certainly isn't for everybody...

Troy is a fantastic color guy. I find it hilarious that so many are so willing to criticize him when he basically put his life on the line for this team playing through injuries. So he doesnt praise Dallas at every chance he gets..so what? His new career is being a broadcaster for a big national network... if you want homerism, turn on the radio.

I hope Troy has a LONG career with Fox, he is articulate (unlike a certain #22 that used to play for us) and knows the game. I enjoy listening to him.

Aikman is an alright color guy. He's strictly alright. It has nothing to do with him being anti-Cowboys or anything either. Buck is strictly alright. For a number one team, they are nothing but mediocre. For a Fox crew, give me Moose and Goose.

If I could choose any crew? Give me Madden and Michaels.

That's what's great about Madden though. I like him analyzing Snickers wrappers on the field or sweat stains or telling me that the guy on the bottom of the pile eats bees (anyone else remember that?). He's football through and through, but he throws things like that in there and I enjoy it.

I diddnt think it was greatness, I thought it was senility. Madden is a good guy and a great representation of the league, but he is almost like Harry Carey. Wasted constantly without a decent thing to say that relates to the game at hand.

I think they do a better job also...

I heard Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson doing college football...very good I thought... in fact there are a couple of NCAA announcing teams that do a very good job.

The announcers that do the CFL games do a very good job also.

I like Aikman and think he does a great job. That being said, he has said a few things that bother me. He mentioned earlier this year during a broadcast about "being past the star and that Eagles fans were warming up to him". That didn't sit well with me at all. Maybe I took it wrong, but I didn't care for the comment one bit. Sunday, he said the pass to Crayton (pass interference play) was a desperation pass. Are you kidding me? He was wide open and had the secondary smoked.

Still, overall he does a great job.

This is stupid! Troy will always be a Cowboy! However, he also wants to be one of the best broadcasters of all time.... In order to do this, he needs to distance himself from the Cowboys. He has to appear a little anti-Cowboys in order to appeal to the masses. Most NFL fans, no matter their affiliation, consider Troy to be the best announcer in football, as do I.... Troy expects the people and fans of Dallas to know, that he's always secretly rooting for us!
