I don't think it's about the voters as much as it is about the computers. OU is in great position to pass Texas and here's why: There are 6 computer polls and here are how the 2 teams are ranked (in no particular order):
Texas - 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3
Oklahoma - 1, 2, 4, 4, 4, 5
The #1 tie-breaker computers use is strength of schedule. OU is actually lucky that they are playing such a good team this weekend. Texas can win and there just ain't any room for improvement (especially when playing such a mediocre team).
But if OU wins, then a couple of those 4's or the 5 will improve by a notch. Now that may not seem like much, but all it would take would be an improvement of 2 notches to improve their computer score by 1/10th of a point, which is all they need to pass Texas.
