The OP always manages to find the negative slant on anything Cowboys.

Huh? Take a look at my posts on the 1st rounder. Loved the pick. Had nothing but good things to say about him.

My sense is that you only want to see positive posts from people. Anything posted that isn't to your liking means a poster is negative. Got it. Thanks.

Having watched every single game he played at Boise State and having gone to lunch with Demarcus a couple of times, I can tell you that he was WELL worth the trade to grab him. He is an explosive player that completely disrupts the backfield. He needs to put on some weight and get stronger, but this kid is the real deal and I guarantee you at least 24 other teams are going to kick themselves in the *** for having passed on him.

He does not have character issues, he was suspended for staying out past his curfew (dinner with his parents) and for missing a team meeting. No criminal charges, no scandals, no violence, he is a quiet spoken and likable guy. With Crawford getting his shot this year, and Demarcus playing beside him, that side of D-Line will be solid.

He will have double digit sacks his rookie year. His "football" speed is unbelievable. Give him a year to bulk him and he will be a beast.

I will give up a 3rd to get the last first round edge rushing WDE.

Agreed, if this was the case according to the board, it was absolutely the right call. Of course, the next question is whether or not their board is worth a #@&*.

We seem to like Boise St players as of late. Broaddus was saying that Lawrence is up to 270 now. If he can maintain his athleticism, then we may have a stud.

I don't expect him to get double digit sacks this year, maybe half of that seeing as how he probably won't be playing every down.

I'm happy with adding Lawrence but didn't really like the cost of losing our third.

Is he really up to that weight? I thought he was in 250's?

Broaddus said and I agree on some level, that if you really like a guy, you go and get him. They certainly did this. Broaddus loves this guy and is very excited the Boys drafted him.

Yeah well Broaddus also said he is a "man" in a 270 lb body... ummm.. not so much!

Great post!. But you've just seen every game, so you don't know as much as others do who have read stuff. Sorry for that cold shower.
