Broaddus, Shan, and Bobby Belt start off discussing WR trade targets, but Broaddus detours into a rant about the offense. Says there's still a lack of creativity compared to other offenses. OC not utlizing enough concepts to get WRs open in space. Route combinations don't maximize WR strengths like KC/Buffalo. Doesn't seem too enamored with trading for a WR if they're just going to inject him in a system that is not WR friendly.

Does he have a point? Or is this just a result of poor QB play?

Kurt Warner mentioned this last year. We didn't run combo routes that attacked cover 2. Simple adjustments were not happening from Kellen.

They’re just talking and making assertions, but provided zero video evidence.

How did I know that your standard cookie cutter response would be in here?
Because the definition of Daksanity is watching him for 7 years and expect he is going to one day become a great QB. Cookie cutter response = cookie cutter QB play

Glad to see many posters starting to see the light and notice how our biggest hindrance is our inability to scheme our receivers open. This is why it gets so frustrating when the Dak critics lazily blame everything on DAK, DAK, DAK, when in reality, it's got more to do with Kellen Moore's inability to scheme his WRs open.

You as a Dak apologist cant have it both ways tho

When Dak plays/played well, Kellen deserves credit

The definition of insanity is expecting Dak critics to learn the game better but realizing they don't have the ability to.

I have forgotten more about football than you will ever learn. Ur too busy posting to watch a game not played by Dallas and see what real QB play looks like.

You should do the same. Watch other teams scheme their receivers open. You might learn a thing or two and come to appreciate Dak a bit more by realizing Kellen Moore is the one hurting this offense's ability.

The scheme is built for Dak. So what's the issue? The answer. QB limitations limit scheme. Can't have receivers running all over the formation bc Dak will never get through the progressions to find them even though he holds the ball longer than needed.

Ah yes, change the offense for a QB who took 1 week to throw a TD in training camp in season 3 and is the end result of making things "Dak-friendly" for 7 years. Dak still can't throw against a zone to save his life. He stares down WRs and is contingent on Moore getting WRs open on their early reads. It is what it is.

KC has Mahomes and Buffalo has Josh Allen.

Mahomes is obviously in a league by himself, but you cannot even compare these offensive schemes in term of QB and WR friendliness. Reid is one of the best to ever do it. Prescott would be a better QB than he is now if he were in a Reid offense, as would pretty much any QB in the league.

All Kellen Moore has to work with is a bruised and broken Zeke, a fraud QB in both Dak and Rush, and meddling WRs.

I say we run an experiment. Get the Chiefs OC here, trade Kellen to KC for a game. Let’s see who’s capable of scoring more points. Kellen needs legit talent to work with.
.....but Mahomes might punch him in the mouth......Andy Reid might do so too.

The scheme is built for every team in the NFL for their qb.

What exactly is your point Captain Obvious?

People complaining about scheme need to understand this scheme is built for Dak. Can't blame scheme when it's built to maximize Dak.

The pass to triple coverage past Sunday is a perfect example of this. Gallop ran a in which made the safety on his side go toward Lamb. Had they had MG run a go route, he would have taken that safety toward the sidelines instead.

Yeah I saw that. That was poor design. That was also a perfect pass to Lamb had the S gone with the WR.
