Unless Jason Taylor is a Pro Bowl QB as well and will be play there for you, your team is still the same dog **** team it was yesterday.

Is Jason Taylor better than Phillip Daniels? Yes or no?

It is one thing to argue about renting a player for a season at the cost. But it is another thing to make believe they are the same team.

im talking about each year, flozell has gotten a pay raise, he has played not real well after getting a pay raise

now i do agree with you flozell played real well last year, all except in the playoff to the giants, that wasnt one of flozells and columbos along with kosiers good games,

Dude, Big Flo is the least of our concerns. Infact, our Oline isn't a concern at all... They played damn good, sending 3 of them to the Pro Bowl and now they have HH coaching them and will only get better....

you think Miami was offering the same thing now that they offered when Washington wasn't desperate for DE help during the draft?

Supposedly the fins wanted a first rounder earlier in the offseason for JT

I don't like this trade one bit. Of course, if he ends up playing four more years, then it will turn out ok, but this seems more like a one and done. I don't doubt he has the ability to play four more good seasons, but it really seems like he doesn't have the desire.
:hammer:

We finally agree on something. :D

Yes, he is but not that much better at 34yrs to make a HUGE difference in the Foreskins defense. I watched him last year against Big Flo and he was DOMINATED, a nonfactor. But to answer your question, yes, he's better then Daniels.....

Well, the 'skins have a stronger team now then they did this morning. That isn't really disputable.

Am I worried? No, not really. As has been said verbatim, JT did little to nothing against Dallas last year. Another year older and on a new team, I don't see much changing.

The 'Skins are a stronger team then they were when I woke up this morning. Whether they'll be a stronger team over the next 5, hell, 3 years because of this trade, well, I doubt it.

Sources within the Cowboys organization has relayed ESPN radio, that the Cowboys are pursuing Roy Williams, if not Roy Williams then Anquan Boldin or Chad Johnson.......

Both Chad and Roy have expressed interest in playing for the Cowboys.

The ticket also mentioned that whisper of a move for Boldin are in the works.

Cowboys are also in talks with the Titans about Adam "Pacman" Jones. Pacman is flying out to Texas on Tuesday to meet with Michael Irvin.

we've been trying all offseason to get a playmaker opposite TO, from considering drafting Limas Sweed to making plans to acquire a playmaking vet, and actually making inquiries

Does Taylor help the Commanders this year? Yes. All you have to do is look at who he is replacing and what they needed. However, saying that, this was a dumb move for them. Taylor has stated that he might only play one more year. Is a 2nd and a 6th worth it to get a little better for 1 year? A year in which you aren't even a contender for a Superbowl? No.

Look at the age of the Skins' lines. This helps them this year but puts them further behind in what they really need to do, and that is to get younger on both lines.

This is Snyders way of milking money out of idiot Commanders fans. This makes them buy jersey's, sell out games...nothing more. This is Snyder being Snyder, period.

Don't be fooled my man, they aren't much stronger at all.. JT was a great player but he's 34yrs old now. He's not the same, BP saw that too. Don't let JT career, which was outstanding, confuse you with JT today...

They let anyone have a keyboard these days, huh?

First Taylor will be a good player for you. But the thing is, you need wayyyyyyy more than just Taylor on your D.

If you think you should be the favorite, or even the second place projection, or third for that matter you are delusional.

Our D was 10th in the league last year without Taylor and with a horrible pass rush. How are we that far away from a good defense?

Did the Skins sign Jason Taylor or a very young Lawerence Taylor?

Some of you make it seem like the just signed LT in his prime. Jason Taylor has been very good in the past, and maybe very good this year, but come on, he is not going to put the Skins over the top. If he was as good as some make him out to be, he singlehandedly would have been good for 3 or 4 more wins on that pathetic Dolphins team.

It was a need trade for the Skins, they needed him and thought that a 2nd rounder was not to steep a price to pay. Some may think they got fleeced by Parcells, but look what he did to us with the Fasano/Ayodele trade.

Aw, this just ruined my Sunday. Just hoping it does not ruin future Sundays.

What person in their right mind would not trade bench players (Martellus Bennett and Eric Walden) for a premiere pass rusher & future HOFer, Jason Taylor?

Even if just for "one year" (which I highly doubt).

I can't believe anyone would believe the Foreskins signing Taylor makes them a contender. Please!!!!!! Taylor is definitely on the downside of his career and one lanky DE won't help the Skins enough to make a difference. They will finish last in the East and I guarantee it.

Now, Im not saying this makes the skins a contender in the least. However, how can you say he is on the downside of his career? He has posted double digit sacks in 5 of his last 6 seasons ( double digits in the last 3), he is still posting up multiple forced fumbles a year, and he hasnt missed a game in 8 seasons. Just wondering how he is "definatly on the downside of his career"
