Then you are an example of how ignorance is bliss. Go with God, my man. You don't know half the things you think you do.
Yea, no we’re good here..

Zeke is a punk and he really should watch his back or hire some full-time security. I would hate for something to happen to our expensive RB. I'm just giving him good advise until temperatures cool a little.
That punk better watch his back. He's enraged a lot of Cowboys fans that are just done with him now.
No, you are just unaware of the hate out there. What an odd thing to say and attempt to back pedal all in one post.
Personally, I believe the vast majority of any rage, like 99.9%, is actually some people who are only just a little pissed off. Please tell me this is sarcasm. Lmao if not. You think Zeke cares what fans think of him after setting himself up for life? Riiiiight. Watch his back? You honestly think enraged fans are actually going to do something other than talk online?
Bad things happen to good people. Don't be so ignorant that you don't understand this. I'm just hoping Zeke is aware. Please tell me this is sarcasm. Lmao if not. You can twist my words to mean anything you want it to mean, including a threat. Doesn't make it so, SteveO.I'd say most of us are aware of it, but aren't dumb enough to post anything that would be considered a veiled threat....and at the same time walk it back as "Just a warning".
Yeah, because I'm sure the multi-millionaire needs a warning from some rando on a Dallas Cowboys Fan message board.
Everything about this is wrong IMO. Dak is the guy in Dallas, like it or not. He has a lot of leverage IMO, in that, he is an FA next year. Unless the Cowboys are willing to tag him, and even then, he has leverage because the Cowboys don't want to use the tag. Cooper has a great deal of leverage because he is clearly the difference in the way the offense performed. Cowboys were .500 before the trade for Cooper, they were 7-3 after and really, 7-1 down the stretch, once Cooper was really into the offense. I think he has tremendous leverage but we'll see. I mean, I get that Elliott just got a new deal but honestly, he had zero leverage. Seriously, that was all Jerry. Jerry did that to do it for Zeke IMO. Illegit child or what, I have no idea but it is what it is.
The team reported 6 year 90 mill, 50 guaranteed.
Like ANY deal the team has written recently, there is going to be a clear out after three years.
It's hard to say that you deserve to be paid like the No. 1 or 2 player at your position when the numbers don't back you up. I'm sure Dallas would like to pay Dak the No. 13 QB salary in the league and Cooper the No. 21 WR salary in the league, but neither player wants that.
Now, I don't believe that Dallas is offering them contracts equal to their level of play numberwise, but it would be stupid of the team to offer to pay them No. 1 or 2 money when they are not No. 1 or 2 at their positions, like Elliott is. It isn't as much about leverage because leverage exists for all your starters where there's a drop-off to the backup. It's about value. Valuewise, Cooper and Dak should be satisfied with top 10 money, but I doubt they are going to settle for that.
Sounds like some burgers are in order Joe!You can twist my words to mean anything you want it to mean, including a threat. Doesn't make it so, SteveO.
Lol, wow, Jerry has managed to keep the Kool aid flowing after 25 years of NOTHING.Zeke!!!!!! The season is here. Go have yourself a buffet man. Leave the hefty amount of crow for the doubters.
When it’s all said and done, we are arguably the best team top to bottom when #21 is out there. Anyone who says anything else is enjoying years of super bowl drought.
I have no idea what they are offering. I'm just saying that both of those players have leverage IMO.
Only a Whataburger, In n Out is not on my repertoire.Sounds like some burgers are in order Joe!
He would’ve lost a lot had Pollard torn it up game 1 plus he started losing big money at that point, no one but Jerry would have given him much more than half that. Jerry caved early. Jerry gave him way more leverage than he should’ve had, which wasn’t much with two years on a contract left and the fact no one was going to pay him what he wants or probably trade for him with his constant cloud of immature behavior.
I'd say most of us are aware of it, but aren't dumb enough to post anything that would be considered a veiled threat....and at the same time walk it back as "Just a warning".
Leverage to seek a new deal, but not get paid what they think they are worth because the value/numbers don't support it, so it's not worth sitting out instead of playing to seek to improve their value.
The difference with Elliott is that his value is the highest it's going to get. Even if he leads the league in rushing again, in carries again, etc., he's not going to improve on being the No. 1 or 2 tailback in the league. In fact, there is the possibility his value could slip some.
Now, the same possibility exists for Prescott and Cooper, but they are betting on themselves that they can up their value. Either that or Dallas will have to offer them more than the numbers show they should receive valuewise, and if the Cowboys do, both players should take it. However, earlier reports seem to indicate they are seeking deals not commensurate to what they have shown statistically. The choice is to leverage your current level into the best deal you can reach or to push your level up if you want more than that ... either that or hope the Joneses value you more than the statistics say they should.
