If Aaron Glenn was the only thing that could keep us from being "lit up" by Eli Manning then we're done before we've started.

I have to agree, Glenn may have had more experience than a 65 mustang, but just like the car, he is just plain old. At least it is a sweet car, Glenn was horrible, and I would rather see a young guy out there making all those mistakes than him with all that "experience".

Seriously, no one is saying Glenn is great or anything, but he's better then those other guys and he has experience (which is invaluable w/Newman hurt).

It is best that he's gone.

How are we a better team? Is having Nate Jones playing better than Glenn? You can't just cut players. You have to replace them.

If we end up trading for someone, that's great, but as of right now, there's no way you can say this team is a better team.

A real head-scratcher. No way they make this move if they think Newman is inactive for any length of time. This still wouldn't make sense even if T-New was completely healthy. Who's gonna play the slot? The only reason he looked like crap this preseason is because he was forced to play the edge receiver in T-New's absence. Too short and too old? Yeah, well there's plenty of 5'11" 22-yos who can't play at all.
