Rewatch the Commander game two years ago and tell me how your "hero" faired over the final few minutes.
My god. You're pointing to one quarter of one game two years ago. I can point to countless quarters over that two year span where he came in and did an excellent job.

NO way, man.

I've been calling for this joker to "get the axe" since 2006.

This was a day many of us had hoped would come.

It has..and I for one am going to enjoy the Hell out of it.

well, enjoy now, because there's still an off chance he'll be re-signed once his vet guarantees can't kick in;)

Exactly. Anyone that was unhappy with the job that Glenn has done for the Cowboys is a moron.

If Jones and Reeves aren't good enough to contribute then they shouldn't be on the roster. Not this year, not last year, not the year before.
They can survive on a roster as 4th and 5th options. NOT AS 2nd and 3rd options. There's a pretty big difference.

BP would bench his guy when it came down to it. Remember Bledsoe? Jones and Reeves just have not shown anything that makes me think they are as good as Glenn.

As "good as Glenn".

What the hell games have you guys been watching?

I've been seeing a 35yo dwarf get beat on a regular basis over the last 2+ years.

He was OK... but certainly no "Al Harris" when it comes ranking the 3rd corners in the NFL.

This is just the typical fan's knee-jerk "he's not with the team any more so he sucks" reaction.

Well there are a few morons here no doubt. I have not seen Reeves or Jones do much of anything that makes me think they can be as good as Glenn is RIGHT NOW.

So Wade is a puppet?

Gosh... I hope not. Maybe it is my paranoia, but with BP gone, I can see Jerry taking over the roster again. I do not know, but does anyone want to relive those days. Personally, I do not see a trade in the works. I will gladly eat crow if this turns out to be a good move

I hope Bledsoe is NOT your best argument. EVEN Bill had no choice. Bled made ALOT of bad decisions.

The same games that Reeves and Jones don't sniff the field...

Now he's my "hero"? You cut a guy for a bad game two years ago? Anthony Henry has had several over that same timespan. Ditto Roy. Hell, by that criterion, we'd have to purge 90% of the roster. Do you remember the game before the Washington meltdown, when Glenn saved our butts in San Diego? Probably not.

Please post your certified "NFL Scout" sheepskin here for all of us to gander at... OK?

I said Glenn was "OK".

He wasn't special and he sure as heck wouldn't hold up as a starter for an entire season.

I think he was cut now because he was old, slow and small.

That's a lot to overcome.

What a dumb thing to say. Where's yours? It takes two to tango in an argument.
