the cowboys have bought into the process of get young players and develop them, build thru draft and the bargain bin FA.

Jones boys made their own HC , and now they make their own players from draft and cheap FA.

Thing is in past jones boys didnt do well spending big in FA, they are not good at it, they wound up paying a lot of money
for guys who didnt produce.
They picked the wrong guys at wrong times, but now they dont want to do it at all.

They paid Dez big, and he got hurt right off the bat and never did much after he got paid.
They just paid Martin and now he gets hurt lol. They paid crawford, and never got the moneys worth.
So them not being good at this stuff, and some bad luck, have them not wanting to take chances anymore.

The bad thing is they have a chance to have a good defense this year, so now is the time to take a chance, and get ET
and maybe another guy, and try to make this defense really good.
They are going to need a good defense, but the jones boys are not making the right moves at the right times.

If Martin and Frederick are not going to be 100% or miss many games, the offense is going to struggle.

What scrub are you taking about? We didn't replace anybody. We needed a safety because ours are injured, it's an upgrade because we don't have a player there
