dak is not winning a super bowl in dallas has had lots of chances just not very good in the post season and the cowboys chances of making the playoff this year are at best not very good

Does it really matter if they sign Dak for 50m (considered a discount) a year or 60 (market setting)?

The savings would only be given to Lamb and Parsons and guys like Tyler Smith.

It’s not as if some discount is going to cause them to change philosophy and actually bring in outside free agents to get over the hump.

Improving from here relies on miracle drafts in a short period either way. So does a full rebuild.
Yes, matters a lot. 10 mil buys a decent starting LB.

There’s still time to delete this after you go back and read past the first line.
Not sure what you're trying to say. NE drafted Brady. Brady won his last super bowl w/ them in 2018 season at the age of 41. He was a 4th round pick or later and still w/ his original team. What am I missing?

Yeah you’re right it’s not Jerry’s fault. It’s everyone else’s fault….99 was Troy fault…..last year was Dak fault……2014 was Romo fault….everyone but Jerry.
Last time I checked Jerry does not play the game, the players do. The roster has regularly the last several been ranked as one of the better ones in league, yet time and time again Dak has failed. Literally nothing to do with who is in the owners box.

Who’s fault was it in 2004?

The players, it always comes back to the players. Just accept it, Dak has been a failure. He will never win anything his whole career no matter what team he plays for. Ready for him to be gone so you can follow him to your new team

Those ranking it are doing a very poor job. It has everything to do w/ who's in the GM box.

Just look at last year. If Jerry takes a LB instead of the really bad drafting of Schoonmaker, there's a good chance we beat GB. It's the GM. Everything else is only peripherals.

And Jerry has been a bigger failure. Much bigger.
