the confusing thing is that Ian Rapport has been reporting that DLaw has been a repeat violator of the substance abuse policy and this would be his 4th failed test....if it were PEDs it would also be a 4 game suspension but no one has heard a peep about any previous failed tests for PEDs or rec drugs

If this is the case and they still didn't sign Hardy...

It will be interesting. Duane Brown went from 10 to 0, because he was able to show receipts of all the red meat he ate in Mexico.

I was going to make a Donald Trump joke here, but didn't know how it would be received.

That's because he's a liar.

So this is his 4th violation?

Jeez, between him and Randy that is like 8 failed tests in the last year?

Lol @ all the people jumping to call him an immature, irresponsible idiot.

Or maybe the appeal is a sham.

Oh yeah? I'm LOL at all the people gullible enough to believe this is the result of an honest mistake. A doctor prescribed him something that was on the banned list, knowing he is an NFL player, and knowing there is a very considerable testing process in place? And do any of you realize how obvious the NFL makes the testing dates? They basically point at a calendar and say, "you're going to be tested on this day." How about the fact that you have to test positive multiple times before a suspension comes into effect? And yet, somehow Lawrence and his doctor didn't realize any of this was taking place. Okay. Why isn't Lawrence suing this doctor for malpractice, leading to lost wages totaling in the hundreds of thousands of dollars? Yeah, I realize he's a Cowboy and everything...

...he's also an immature, irresponsible idiot. And some of you are incredibly gullible.

Forget Hardy... Hardy will never darken the door at VR again. He totally burned his bridge with the Cowboys FO
and they don't want anything to do with him.

The fact that we have shown zero interest in Hardy speaks volumes about him. He must be an absolute, complete headache for teams to deal with.

The fact that no other team has touched him either seems to confirm this. Especially when you consider his talent as a pass rusher in a pass happy league.

It's amazing that one of the perennial basement dwellers (Raiders, Jags, Browns, etc) haven't brought him in for a look.

My point clearly went over your head, and you made mine for me. Let's see if you can rethink it.

no one is touching Hardy with a 10-foot pole, and for good reason. He probably won't play again. He managed to make a terrible situation worse with every single word that came out of his mouth.

tell us how other suspensions have been reduced/eliminated for the same reasons, then.

I didn't know that he had failed so many. He is history. They can move on from him now. Gregory is just stupid. Pot is not a drug that causes addiction. He is doing the drug just to get high. What looked like a draft steal is turning into a wasted pick. I rifn't realize that the problem had become so severe since he has been a Cowboy. I think the guy has Rome kind of mental problems TBH. Oh well, another wasted second round pick.

Oh well? LOL

And they went ahead and did the same sort of stupid thing this year even after the Gregory debacle. Only this time it is an injury issue. And the guy wont even play this year. Mind boggling how stupid the Cowboy brass is. They always have to hit the home run. Always have to go for the big score, the risky pick. They cant simply do the steady, smart thing. The best drafting teams do just that. When the Cowboys have drafted steady and smart their drafts have been much better. I can show you an article on just how bad the Cowboys have been drafting over the last 9 years if you are interested compared to the rest of the league.

You cant discount the facts. There was no opinion on that article only facts. But you didnt need the facts to know that the Cowboys after the first round are just horrid. I knew all that already. This just showed it so that the non believers or those that couldnt see it could see it in a simple and factual format.

But at the end of the day we can forget all about stats and opinions and just look at the one fact that matters. Over the last 15 year the Cowboys are a 500 ball club. And we saw without Romo what the talent on this ball club REALLY is. Trump up the Cowboys all you want, the results are average at best. But that wont stop the homers from predicting it will all change THIS season for reasons they think make sense.

NO..................but what does that have to do with my post. From what I can tell, you think I am talking about his article about the draft?

Oh, apologies. I thought you were referencing that Sturm article.
