Here's the Romo Video
**Edit: Vid removed by youtube per KDFW**

Here's the Tony Romo video following the last play of the game against the Broncos where it appears he thinks the Cowboys have another play. The video was taken by KDFW Fox 4 sports photographer Larry Rodriguez.

Here is Romo holding up 3 fingers? There is no way he thought it was third down. I dont think.

Man do I feel for the kid.

Come on Tony!!! You can do it.

Its very strange.

Todd Archer told the musers this morning when heasked the other players about this, that in the huddle on those final plays he knew exactly what the situation was and what was going on as did they.

So even archer was stumped by this.

I was hoping he thought there was pass interference and a chance for one more play, but that video is damning evidence of the contrary. No wonder he threw to Crayton short of the goal line. He thought we had an extra play in our pocket. Maybe we should've just ran it in, anyway.

Who cares?

I can see if he had thought it was third down, and so he threw the ball short of the end zone, ok - blast him. But both downs he went to the end zone. KNowing or not knowing made no difference. This isn't like McNabb not knowing the rules to overtime, which no doubt made a huge difference to how he approached his final drives in overtime.

Obviously, it's open to interpretation, but he does come off a tad confused. Also, he had to know that there was only enough time to run one more play.

He did that on first down. Unless he also believes there are five downs, there's no way, there's no way that impacted that throw.

I could've sworn that was second down, but it really doesn't matter. I refuse to watch it again.

On second down he spiked the ball.

Exactly. It makes no difference anyway. It's not like he tried less hard to complete the pass to Hurd because he thought he had another down.

And the vid has been taken down, apparently, but if Archer says the players in the huddle thought Tony knew what down it was, doesn't that settle it? I don't see why Archer would still be confused about it.

You do see how our turd of a local media crew makes things harder on this team, though. Gotta love how they look for ways to tear down the players.

And before someone says "It's not their job to help the team!!!"... No, it isn't. But it's not their job to do the opposite, either.

for what it is worth, max was a big owens supporter. Not sure that matters.

These guys on the radio are just giddy that this happened. Its pretty sad.

I'm tired of him, hopefully he'll be benched by the end of the season.
I was slow warming to him in 2006, didn't like the decision to hand him the starting role, conceded i was wrong but now in the long run I'm not, my reservations are justified, he is not starting material.

it's worth ****.

I was a big Owens supporter as well, because I support the players on my favorite team. Does that mean I have to be anti-Romo?
