Yeah, that tard as you call it, is the best CB to lace it up, won 2 SBs, and could shut down any receiver on this planet.

IMO, he's dead on, and I've been preaching it all summer long, and I'll be right here to remind all of you this up coming season. Jason Witten will have a great year, because he will be thrown to thousands of times this year, and Roy "big stiff" williams will be absent a ton of games except those gimmy games where even a high school team could beat them.

Romo doesn't have the mental make up to check down, and when he does, his arm will not get it done for him. Again, no more easy scores from here out, we will be sub-500 even with that easy, last place schedule we have.

Damn Judas your avatar fits perfect.

Go route for someone else.

P.S I do agree with you about Tonya Romo.

And everyone seems to forget Bennet, him and Witten together could easily get 1300 - 1500 yrds.

I agree, I think they can wreck shop together. The question is can Garrett figure out how to use them.

I don't know if he can, but since he's here all I can do is hope so.

I think we will run more 2 TE sets this year, since we dont have a particular person we dont have to force it to this year to make him happy. That was one more good thing about his release. Witten will basically play WR this year, and Bennet will basically be the TE. And dont forget Felix, and Austin (although im still not a believer in him yet)

I quit reading the moment that he tried to tell someone what practice was for. Sanders doesn't have a clue what practice was actually for so he should just keep his mouth shut.

I think this year Witten will get the double team.

Whatever set Dallas uses it better work. Dallas can't have another year like the last one.

Is there an exorcist in the house? I think Clove needs one.

I think it's great. He's totally running with this gimmick, changed his screen name and all.:laugh1:

No one is taking him seriously, I hope.

The guy is an average player. He could not get separation with a star WR and a star TE in the game, he was one on one in every game and was NEVER opened.

All of a sudden, he's supposed to figure out how to get opened? I think not.
TO was open?NO.U are the most negative fan ever in the history of fans, lol.

I don't believe Deion should point out anyone's practice habits. Unless banging hot chicks is the practice he means.

Here's what I worry about with Jerry's courting of RW ..

I read that RW was a pet project of Jerry the last few years and he would ask the Lions' owner at meetings what the price was. Two number ones was the cost, until lately.

When the Lions' owner got back to Jerry that the price had dropped to about what Jerry paid .. Question:

Did Jerry at that point tell his pro personnel staff, his scouts ... to look at film on RW, to get opinions on whether he was worth this kind of ransom.

I doubt Jerry did. He and Stephen probably talked long and hard about RW's contract, but I doubt if there was any big effort by scouts to dissuade Jerry that RW wasn't worth that kind of scratch. Jerry had made up his mind, and was rubbing his hands.

As posters here have said, JJ and SJ were smart, in that signing RW midseason helped absorb the future bonus/salary cap hit ... the contract was wisely thought about I'm sure. The trade was a hedge against future TO decline, any kind of TO incident in the offseason etc. .... And RW would take double coverage off TO last season, help a Super Bowl run.

My worry is that RW's actual talent wasn't really evaluated at the time of the trade, except in Jerry's mind. He had made up his mind on RW years before.

I believe bad things about Jerry.

Therefore I believe this is how the deal went down.

I saw Roy Williams in person against the 49ers and he was open all the time and Romo never looked his way. Without the distraction that was TO, I think Roy Williams will prove his worth.

I was going to reply in this thread, but then I felt a sudden urge to take a big Deion and then go wipe my Sanders.

I'll be back later to share how I feel about Primetime.

So me, Irvin, Deion, and Troy Aikman all know how much of a piece of trash Roy Williams is but the homers think him working with Tony Romo in the offseason will make things all peachy and think he can replace TO. I laugh at you all once the season starts.

Come to think of it, Deion kinda slammed Roy during the Baltimore telecast. He kept noting thas Reed was shadowing TO on every play, leaving Roy one-on-one with a corner--matchups he wasn't winning.

HAHAHA I love it! The truth hurts. Enjoy number 11 guys.:lmao2: . Lol @ Ed Reed double teaming a washed up loser who cant beat press coverage. Buffalo will be a happy place come playoff time.

If he just does what he didn't do this last year, I think we'll be fine.

Call him what you want, #1 WR or #2 WR, but it's not like his style of play or the type of plays they call for him will differ that greatly from what he was getting last season. It's not as if we're placing him into TO's role to do exactly what TO was doing. Can't, two different types of receivers.

Miles is the guy coming in to "replace" TO in this offense. He may not be classified as the #1 to replace our former #1, but those specific to his type of plays will be coming Austin's way, just like they came TO's way for the last 3 seasons.

Roy Williams just has to be the best Roy Williams he can be and be sure to bring it every practice and every game. Witten will continue doing what he's doing and Miles will step into TO's old roll nicely and stretch our field.

Different, but not necessarily disaster waiting to happen either. Just something we'll have to make work.

Roy Williams ran a 4.42 40 in the 04 combine. Dude must be slow.

I think his straight line speed is OK, but he just looks ponderous running routes. Also, I think he telegraphs his breaks.

I don't think he's a scrub, but with significant practice he could play a lot better than what he showed last year. I think that's a good thing, provided he has the work ethic and proper coaching.

my point is he talks about Owens like he's still a top 5 wr. off the top of my head i'd say

#1 Larry Fitz
#2 Randy Moss
#3 Calvin Johnson
#4 Andre Johnson
#5 Anquan Boldin

I'd take anyone from that list.

That "tard" is the very best cover corner I ever saw in this league from the late 1970s to now. I very much do value his opinion on WRs. There are few on this planet as qualified to discuss it as he.

Except he completely makes his point on the things he actually knows something about useless when he starts talking about the practice habits of a player and starts preaching about how practice is where people get timing. Deion Sanders thought practice meant standing around, pretending to do something, and driving his tricked out golf cart around.

He wouldn't have a clue what practice was actually for, or about.

What great WRs have Tony Gonzales or Antonio Gates ever played with?

Excellent point. These two haven't ever had any great WRs with them and yet they've still put up numbers. Amazing, huh?
