Hard to say which quarterback was actually better both were saddled with this franchise and Jerry's culture.
I do know that I really didn't like watching Romo play after a while because of his gambler gunslinger style that too many times ended up in heartbreak.
Conversely I loved watching Dak play when he came into the league as his style centered around ball security and he could run the ball take on tacklers and get back up and lead the team.
I'm watching Dak struggle with an offensive line that's crushing his best efforts with pre-snap penalties Romo suffered the same situation.
I very much like the fact that Dak
struggled as a passer but worked on his craft and became better.
I hated the fact that Romo had the tools to be successful but in his prime worked on his celebrity status more than concentrating on football.
Eventually his body failed him and he squandered his prime and his opportunity by putting girls before the game.
Dak may not be as talented but he does put everything he has towards the game and I have to give him credit for that.
Lately Dak it's not his old self and is playing tentatively not sure if it was because of the injury or what but he needs to get back to his old self
All that said it didn't and doesn't matter which one of them is better They are all undermined by Jerry's culture which makes success impossible.
