I know what you're saying Dave, but at some point a "kick-in-the-pants" is warranted.
The guy has been soft. I can't think of any other word that describes him better than that. And his behavior after being demoted falls right in line with that.
playing poor and getting demoted is a natural occurrence in any sport. once that happens, there are two ways to handle it. one, is to act like a tool, throw a tantrum, and run away (what Claiborne did). two, you can use it as motivation. You, can study film like mad, hit the weight room and get into great shape, get out on the field and practice your technique over and over and over, until you improve enough to steal your starting position back.
Accountability has actually happened within this organization.
ABOUT FRICKIN TIME.
What would Mo do if he was on the Jets?
Answer: If he played poorly he would be demoted regardless of draft position.
Mo's answer: Perform well enough to see the field again.
I still don't believe it.
Someone needs to Photoshop him walking out a door.

I agree with this, although when you have a DL with 1 total sack in 3 games, Mo isn't all of the problem.
Please don't try to move any of the blame for Mo losing his man in coverage or not being a willing or effective participant in run support on the DL. Mo would suck with the '75 Steeler front four. He is lost and is in no way shape or form ready to be even serviceable at this level
I honestly think Claiborne could get cut over this development. We all should care what's going on here.
I'm not saying Mo is great by any means, what I am saying is when you are second to last in the league in sacks, being over the top hard on your CBs is a bit naive.

As I said earlier, Jerry has every right to call out any player on the team, especially one that they traded a 2nd round pick for that hasn't lived up to expectations.
