Good God. **** Washington. **** their bulletin board. **** their annoying fans.

I didn't realize anyone even on Extremeskins still thought Cooley was a better TE than Witten. That's hilarious. America's Team is more of a nothing to 'most folks'? You're Slim Pickens all of a sudden? Explain to us after the game why you set a season viewership record for the Washington Redsk*ns on Sunday.

Don't forget your anti-Snyder banners and t-shirts. We don't mind you wearing them in Texas.

I just don't care about that stuff. I think American's love winners. They are all over the teams that are the tops at the team.

Doesn't even matter.

I don't know about Dallas fans. But I am sick of an owner who just thinks he's this football guy. I mean.....hasn't it been long enough since Jimmy left to see Jerry isn't a good front office guy? His track record since a few years after Jimmy has been awful.

I think Snyder just has Jones-Envy because Jerry thinks he was the driving force behind your latest NFL titles.....and Snyder believes it.

Its a mess.

We need a GM with full control badly.

Snyder needs to be more like the Rooney's and Kraft. Less like Jerry and Al Davis.

Jerry and Al Davis have both multiple Superbowl titles. I think Dan Snyder won a home playoff game once.

Snyder is to Jerry Jones what the guy who shoots a 7/11 clerk is to Ted Bundy. One of them just does it better.

For a guy who has never won a playoff game and was one of the reasons Troy Vincent blocks a late game FG, those are some big words

The Cowboys should have no trouble over a terrible Commanders team this weekend.

Don't think that's a stat. That's missing an assignment and losing a game for your team.

Big difference.

Keep your mouth shut.....do your job....and that would have been a "W".

I'm almost positive Marc Colombo blew his assignment on that Vincent blocked fg.

LOL, damn, I really can't remember, I could of sworn it was Tony Curtis. Man, that was a friggin heartbreaker that one.

This is STILL the BEST rivalry in all of sports. I get pumped for these games a little more then other games. The fact that I have every single thing about the deadskins comes into play more now than during the whole year. Looking back on the play, it looks like the deadskins overloaded the left hand side and Dallas didn't adjust for crap. That is just from looking at You tube vids that were put up by moronic deadskins fans after that "SuperBowl" win for the deadskins.

I prefer Dallas Vs Washington in 99 myself, ehehehe

Someone will notice the most profitable sports franchise in the entire world doing anything, especially changing one of if not the most famous team monikers in all of American sports.

Are you talking about the Commanders or Cowboys here because this is just confusing. The Skins were the most profitable team last year, the Cowboys will be this year most likely, unless Jerry's debt burden is huge. But who cares about making the most money? Do you think Steelers fans are worried that their owners aren't getting more obscenely rich?

As for changing the moniker, if you're talking about the Commanders, that will never happen, even if the Native Americans are successful in their next suit. Trademarks law is common law, not federal.

If it means that much to you, fine, the Dallas Cowboys are America's team

Happy?
Most of us really don't care about that title, however someone must like the Cowboys, we are #1 in Merchandise sales and 3 of the top 4 games in TV ratings this year were Cowboy games.

Hey, Steeler fans should be worried if after 2010 there is no Salary Cap, Jerry and Dan will go crazy and small market teams will have no chance.

I don't think he has to try too hard. I think you're trying pretty hard to prove otherwise, your 2nd sentence notwithstanding.

The question that should be asked is if it didn't mean that much, then why is it every year, a different team, media outlet, blogger, and fans attempt to annoint themselves as America's Team?

Yeah YOU personally might not care, but not even two weeks ago, there was a poll attempting to suggest that Pittsburgh should be called America's Team.

It is what it is...and neither the Cowboys nor their fans have to prove it.

Is Cooley even playing this Sunday?

Like it will matter. The guy is too worried about his fro.

I am not sure if the Cowboys win or lose this Sunday. I do seriously hope they beat the living snot out of every single deadskins player that steps on that field. Maybe even some sittin on the bench ala Carlos.

Hate, hate, HATE the deadskins can't say it enough.

I was talking about the Cowboys

And I'm the least politically correct soul on the planet, but even I would be a bit uneasy if I had to root for a team wil racial slur that is equivalent to calling a black man the n word. Regardless of whether or not they can force you to change it, you should.

Adam Shein thinks or thought that the J-ville Jags were the new America's Team. LOL..

I myself can't stand the nickname. But, it has worked for the Cowboys, so be it.

All this hogwash about the "Commanders" name. Gimme a break, it's a friggin football team. A sucky one at that. Leave it be.

You say that media outlets and fans of other teams claim that the Steelers, or Packers, or Patriots, or whoever are America's team, but then you say that the Cowboys don't have to prove it. Sounds to me like they have to prove it.

Other teams try, with futility, to claim the nickname

Why prove it? It is known. By everyone. Most of the non fans that come around and talk smack always bring up the America's Team title crap. Dallas needs to prove this season that they can survive December and HOPEFULLY get into the playoffs and win.

If that were true, it wouldn't be debated.

No, it is only debated by jealous fans who hate that the fact that Dallas has that nickname, they have to hear about it more. From the media, fans, cockroaches, everyone. Non fans are dying for someone else to have the name so they won't hear about Dallas anymore. BUt, sorry, this team is never going away , good or bad. There is just too much greatness about this franchise.

The thing about that game. That was the last good game with the likes of Troy, Emmitt, Moose, and Irvin together.

yep, sure was. Lost Moose in that game. And then Game 3? friggin serious bummer. That day, the heart/emotion of Dallas was gone. And hasn't been replaced since.
