Looks like what we will see is the main characters go to the desert and someone lets the zombie hoard out of the arena that wipes out the military.

This show pretty much stinks up the joint so far. Episode six needs to have a really big payoff for this thing to be worth another season.

No body needs to let them out, 2000 zombies no matter how week can cave in those doors, hinges or handles will be the first to go.

Did it bother anybody else that they show this fat bearded white man sobbing and breaking down like a girl rather than kicking the guys *** in the suit when he said what he did? Very unrealistic.

that character has been on the verge of a nervous breakdown since they introduced him.

To what do you attribute this?

Not to violate any rules I will just say, you can see it in society right now call it entitlement call it whatever but men today as a whole cannot hold a candle to men of yesteryear.

The last episode was WD worthy.

Indeed.

The show needs a chance before people declare it a bust like many have. This season was all about showing not only what happened at the start of the apocalypse, but how people had to adjust. The show basically showed exactly what I think would happen in a situation like that. This episode we saw Travis change. Heck we saw change in all of them, culminating in the last step in the breakdown of society with the ending. Rules don't apply any longer. Hopefully now we see a fresh spin on the actual meat and potatoes that make the walking dead what it is. They look to be going a completely different direction than the rural country setting and I'm curious to see where it goes from here.

It's kind of weird. Last night you seen the guy show the boy his Off shore boat and it gives the indication earlier that he had a stocked island (or maybe he meant the boat).

With that said and your earlier above comment...Before the season started they said the series would STAY in the city. That it would not like the walking dead where they went from location to location. So unless that has changed I don't know what is going to happen with the idea of getting people on the boat.

I found the finale to be just as boring as the rest of the season. The collapse of society and inability of the military to resist the zombies doesn't work IMO.

I couldn't help but think how bad and selfish the main group is (in terms of morality, not acting) because the guy who tortured the soldier (Andy?) led the zombie horde to the military camp so he could break out his wife and the druggie kid. I thought it was random when Andy shot the woman and not her dad during the last scene. I think Andy is going to be an antagonist for this group somewhere down the line because they never actually showed he was dead, just that Travis beat him up really bad.

I do think season 1 was a bit slow but doesn't make the series bad, season 2 will be interesting and I will be on the look out for it.

Now onto the series finale with Rick and company!

Oh and Travis shooting his ex wife because she was bitten (even though it looked like a scratch to me) was a pretty good way to show the character changing relatively soon

I thought the "Fear" finale was decent. The action was good. The story-telling haphazard and unbelievable even for a zombie-show.

And I still have no connection to any of the characters. Never had that problem with the characters of "TWD".
