the 8 touchdown given up stat?

Yeah? Also less completions allowed, yards given up than most too, but you didnt mention that

Taylor gave up 11 is he a liability?

Reed gave up 6 is he a liability?

Wilson 6 liability?

You would think...

It's really not a difficult concept.

For some it seems to be.....

Roy helps our Run Defense .... Reed helps their pass D .....

Reed is good not great in Run D
Roy is good not great in Pass D

2 different positions ... Free Safety .....Strong Safety

Walla!!!

All those stats are coming from Stats, INC.

Let's see what Joyner comes out with, and compare

Wow...YOU'RE the one who made this thread saying in such a matter of fact way:

Roy <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Ed Reed.

That's a lot of less than signs.

First of all, fix your "s" key.

So you're just going to the last game. Talk about a very selective memory.

And you're saying that I'M always right? If I were, I'd be GM. I'm not always right, but I'm right on this. Why does everything have to be in extremes with some of you posters. "Player X is the greatest! Player Y sucks!"

Yeah, Roy might not be better than Reed, and I don't think he is, but the posts coming from some of you that Roy can't do ANYTHING is just ludicrous.

"yet reed had 2, should've been 3."

. This is hilarious. When Roy dropped an INT, you all jumped all over him saying he has no hands. And when Reed doesn't get one, you say "oh darn, let's count it anyway!"

And this is complete "pot calling the kettle black". The Roy haters will go on to dismiss everything he does well, while exaggerating everything he does badly. Why can't YOU ever admit that you're wrong?

:hammer:

I'd be interested in the breakdown of Adam's stats

Roy looked really good early in the season, then at one point it all fell apart, I think, off the top of my head, when he had the first 0 tackle game.

I wonder how many of the 8 TD's he gave up came near the end of the season...cause he really did not look himself

Defensive lineman running free at the LOS because the offensive lineman are chasing the safety 10 yards down field.

Please, tell me how I don't know football one more time.

Well I was talking about in run downs when Roy plays close to the LOS ....

But I am so overwelmed with you're Smilie attack ...... that must make you right ;)

someone is angry because he can find no stats to back up his Roy Sucks claims .....

Yeah, I'm sure that's what they tell offensive lineman in team meetings.

"Guys, let the nose tackle run free on run plays. The guy lined up right over the ball? We're not concerned about him. Go get the safety.

I believe most of them came in the last 6 or so games. I *believe* he gave up 4 in the first 10 games but dont quote me on that

If you watched the games .... you would see the opposing QB point to Roy EVERY time he moves near the LOS .....

He disrupts everything ...... He is a playmaker ...... I am sorry your hatred of him keeps you from seeing this.

Are Joyners better? I mean Stats LLC is the company that keeps the stats for ESPn and the like just as Joyner works for them

You do realize that Joyner assigns blame to any player in the vicinity of the reciever don't you?

Newman was assigned blame for giving up a TD to Kennison vs the Cheifs last season when it was very apparent that Keith Davis blew his coverage and Newman was only there trying to cover Kennison because Davis messed up.

Joyner does a good job of just trying to breakdown every play... but he certainly has flaws in his system.

So every Safety in the league is a liability in coverage ...... yet Roy sucks and needs to be better.

Wow ......

Wow ......

:lmao2:

So now not only is Roy a liability but so is Ed Reed, Adrian Wilson, and Sean Taylor?

:laugh2:

lack of pressure is killing our secondary. the day after the 2005 draft - if you'd have told me that in two years THIS is what we would get from the combination of ware, spears, and canty... i'da said "yer insane in the membrane!"

that draft sure looked good on paper.

Ok,so you people should be ready for Ware vs. Merriman in a couple of years and answer truthfully.

when i made my first post, it wasn't directed at you at all.

you decided to respond against it, suggesting that you took on the part that i defined as "hater".

go through some of the posts in this thread, and you'll see what I was responding to.
