Oh well...might as well get used to quotes like this until the 'Boys man up and punch these so-called "frontrunners" in the mouth! Personally, it matters not one iota what the media thinks, I just want Dallas to go out on the field and prove TO THEMSELVES that they can win! Hopefully, the KC game, as "ugly" as a win can be for some people, actually serves as a springboard inside the locker room as far as confidence goes and has them believing they can WIN any game instead of wondering how they'll LOSE the game...

Dude, Keri Hilson is bomb! Nice sig!

This game provides some nightmare matchups for the Cowboys. John Abraham lined up over Flozell Adams is a scary sight to me. I also think Brooking and James will struggle to cover Gonzales. Hopefully Sensabaugh's return will slow Gonzales somewhat. Roddy White will be a challenge, but the secondary has done a good job since the Giants game of keeping receivers from dominating games.

I don't think it's ludicrous to say that Atlanta is the better team. But I'm sure they are concerned about Dallas as much as they have been for any team they've faced.

Lets take all the bias out of this for a second.

Dallas - Better overall players but they dont play to their potential.

Falcons - Rookie QB/Coach(last year) that continues to play/coach well and excel.

All I say to Dallas is "show me".

Don't see this posted anywhere: Today, on ESPN Radio's Mike and MIke show, Mike Golick picked the Falcons to beat Dallas. He said, and I quote "The Falcons are better team and they will go down to Dallas and prove it".

What was pathetic is that he said it so definitively. Yeah, whatever! The Bears, who have no WRs to speak of, a sub par running game, and an an OL that often gets pushed back, had no problems moving the ball in the 4th quarter to get in position for a tie and/or win.

It was the Bears own mistakes that cost them. What I saw was a Bears team that could throw at will in the middle of the field and they don't even have a good TE. In fact, Bennett is a better receiving TE than what the Bears have and their TE (and WRs) were making plays all over the middle of the Atlanta defense.

And at the end of the game, Atlanta lost their best CB for the year. So what started out as a bad secondary for them just got 50% worse!

Sorry, but Atlanta is NOT the better team, Mr. Golick, and when they go down to Dallas, the Cowboys will prove that!
I am sorry to say, but I agree with Golic, with that said, I hope the Cowboys prove both Golic and myself wrong.

Do you even know who the TE for the Bears is? What a joke of a post this is.

exactly Olsen is a gifted tight end. He'll blossom even more under cutler (unfortunately)

4 Catches 40 yards 0 TD's = trash.

wow full of fail you are. Now I see why everyone says you can't just look at the stats and know what has happened.

1. He plays opposite a HOF TE in Witten that alone will reduce;
A) his playing time
B) his receptions
2. Hes playing on a "wide open" passing system (meaning if your open you get the ball, its no longer "ok, this goes to Bennett..this goes to R. Williams..)

WE ONLY LOST TWO GAMES PEOPLE!!!! you guys talk like we're 0-5 or something. I know I know we struggled in games we should have won but guess what we won. you think the other 3-2 teams think they suck because they lost 2 games? I can see if we got blown out but we didn't we hung in there no matter what mistakes we made we still pull those W's out. I know I'm gona get balsted for this but it showed me allot that no matter how big the hole iis we put ourselves in we still found a way to get through it with the exception of 2 games. The falcons haven't face a team like us yet look at the giants the "Best team in the NFL" when you play scrubs you look amazing but when you face a team that has talent (say what you want but we are 3-2) you get exposed....screw the falcons they have no idea of the beating they are going to be walking into

4 Catches 40 yards 0 TD's = trash.

This needs to be canned and reopened in December... Come on DaBoys you ought to know that 4 catches for 40 yards at week 6 is incomplete. Trash is taken out when full. Until then, there's plenty of time to recycle for better stats.

I agree whole heartedly YoMick... I just want to see a freaking clean game. I'm so sick of mistake after mistake that kills a big play. It sucks to go from screaming YEAH BABY!!! to ****** FLO Not Again!!!

If Oakland can beat Philadelphia then anything can happen. But I don't think that makes Oakland a better team for the season, just for the day.

So yes, Dallas can beat any team on any given day. But right now this team is only average at best....and Atlanta has performed well, so I would have to say they are the better team measured by performance. And this is a performance based league.

I say we play the game first then we talk.

After all we only beat teams with losing records. Let's see what we can do against teh Falcons.

Ya but we also only lose to undefeated teams. Current combined record of the two teams that bet us is 11-1!

I haven't read every post in this thread but I didn't see anything on Sunday night that was real special about Atlanta. I hate to say they are overrated because they don't get a lot of press like the Giants, Saints, Pats, Colts but they aren't underrated either in my mind. The only person that worries me is Gonzales. Michael Turner didn't impress, Roddy White had that one big play bu not much else, Ryan just takes what the defense gives him and has a lot of short passes and screens. Their defense looks small to me and against our big oline I don't see them getting much push on our running game. I think the Falcons are getting too much love right now. It's like the media is tired of talking about the Saints, Giants and need another team to try to hype as this really good team and this week it is the Falcons

Not to blast you, since this is the 2nd time this comparison has been made, but FTW!

That Raiders were a 14 point dog and pulled out a tremndous win, HUGE upset.

We are a 4 point favorite people! You can agree with this line or go wager some of your hard earned cash if we think it's whacked.

Either way, please stop speaking of a Cowboys win as improbable.

Okay, you lose your football knowledge card for at least one hour. :) Bad boy. Greg Olsen is a very good pass catching tight end.

oops, i went back and looked at a few more posts and noticed many here already called bs on that silly comment.

So are you picking Atlanta to win outright?

If I had to pick it, I would say Dallas by 3 or so.

I respect what you're saying, but thier is a flip side to this.

Who's blocking Ware and Ratliff?
Who's covering Witten?

OK, I like Abraham, but he's no Ware. And since when does Flozell suck? How many sacks did he give up to the Giants and Panthers all-word DEs?

I have concerns going into this game, but Flozell vs Abraham is way down the list.
