Flo normally has problems with 3-4 rushing LB's, he should be OK with Abraham, but Atlanta has to be concerned with the Matchups as well, we now have Austin starting, Roy coming back, Crayton in the Slot, Witten and Bennett and all 3 RB's back now, plus we are coming off a Bye and are at home.

So are you picking Atlanta to win outright?

If I had to pick it, I would say Dallas by 3 or so.

Yes, Atlanta outright but close.

I think the game is a toss up because it is played in Dallas. Atlanta would win at home, but not sure the Cowboys can say the same. Coming off a bye week should help the Cowboys. If Felix can play healthy, he is the wild card that could put the Cowboys over the top.

I respect what you're saying, but thier is a flip side to this.

Who's blocking Ware and Ratliff?
Who's covering Witten?

OK, I like Abraham, but he's no Ware. And since when does Flozell suck? How many sacks did he give up to the Giants and Panthers all-word DEs?

I have concerns going into this game, but Flozell vs Abraham is way down the list.

How many sacks does Abraham have this year... He is going to abuse Flozell

That depends on how much help the Cowboys give Flo vs Abraham. I would expect Dallas to chip down on Abraham as well as running the ball to his side to slow him down.

Atlanta will be a stern test for the Cowboys. They will bring all we want. But I think both teams are good and they probably are a little uptight about playing us.

BTW, Olsen is a pretty damn good TE. Bennett just needs more time and more touches. He's far from trash. In fact I wouldn't call any NFL player trash.

Golic's constant overrating of Notre Dame should make anyone pause and contemplate his football prediction skills.

The Falcons have a very good team and have the capability of beating Dallas. However, this game will mostly likely be dictated by the penalties and turnovers, which the Cowboys may gift Atlanta; just as it has been the case over the past five games.

Took the words out of my mouth.

This game provides some nightmare matchups for the Cowboys. John Abraham lined up over Flozell Adams is a scary sight to me. I also think Brooking and James will struggle to cover Gonzales. Hopefully Sensabaugh's return will slow Gonzales somewhat. Roddy White will be a challenge, but the secondary has done a good job since the Giants game of keeping receivers from dominating games.

I don't think it's ludicrous to say that Atlanta is the better team. But I'm sure they are concerned about Dallas as much as they have been for any team they've faced.

Abraham will give Flozell all he can handle. And all we can do with Gonzales is to slow him down. I wish we could stop him and then put TNew on White. In fact they may look at that. And right now I think Atlanta is a better team. They make less mistakes than we do. I don't think they are any more talented though.

See above. If Abraham is healthy then he will cause Flozell problems. Not saying Flo can't handle him but he had better bring his A game. I think there is a possibility he will need help. That's a key matchup IMO. That and Gonzales and White. I think we can stop Turner.

Do you even know who the TE for the Bears is? What a joke of a post this is.

Yes, because I LIVE in Chicago and know firs-hand how pitiful the Bears are, with or without Cutler. And you can't directly compare Olson to Bennet because they play differnt positions on their respective teams. You probably did not consider that because it's easier to be short-sighted.

I"ll say if for you then. I have seen pretty much a C- game all year.

I really have no problem with this statement. IMO, they are a better football team then we are. Do they have as much talent? I don't know if they do or they don't but I know this, they are not as penalized, nor do they turn the ball over with the regularity we seem to. To me, those things translate into a better team. JMO.

Flo had a big game vs Carolina.

He wasn't bad in the Giants game either.

In fact our entire offense was doing great at blocking until we went to Denver.

Absolutely, especially with our running game. The Falcons give up an average of roughly 120 yards a game on the ground. They better be concerned.

Bennett is clearly the better TE....

Your stats are meaningless without proper perspective, so let me educate you: Olson is a #1 or #2 WR option for Chicago Bears because their WRs are horrible. In that light, his stats suck. In Dallas, Bennett, if he even sees the field as a receiving TE and not just a blocker, is maybe the third or fourth receiving option. Put him in the Bears system as a primary option then he easily surpasses Olson's stats. Heck, if Wittem went down (I sherug saying that) and Bennet is slotted in as Dallas' primary WR option then his stats easily surpass Olson's b/c he IS a much better TE.

Thanks for playing!

Thinking back on his tripping of Tuck, me thinks Flozell was humming "Everybody Was Kung ** Fighting" during that game.

Yeah, we present them some bad matchups for them as well, mostly in the running game. They might struggle with Ware and Ratliff. They've played really well but have mostly been neutralized in the passing game by short drops. Gonzales in particular will make it tough for Ware to get to Ryan. I expect him to be open in the short passing game.

Abraham is an accomplished edge rusher with a strong inside move - exactly the kind of rusher that Flozell struggles with. OTOH, Flozell should have a big advantage in the running game as Abraham weighs about 250-260.

I think it will be a close game, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas lose. I definitely think the struggles will continue.

He's been great in the running game, but pretty much subpar in pass protection since Tampa Bay.

At KC, Tamba Hali was giving Flo all he could handle. Tamba Hali!
