sorry to offend you reverend. my point is we did NOTHING to give us insurance. and who the heck are you to judge anything. oh, right, you are better than that i guess. so be it, my LORD. of course you r right. i expected a debate, not responses belittling my post. maybe some answers bc i am worried about our depth.
Wow. Why the weak insults? People responded to your thread and attempted to debate, and you responded with a filthy attack. Of course you're going to get reamed with such a childish mindset.
Look, I tried to respond with an opinion in my first post -- no better, no worse than the opinion you offered in your first post.
It's my opinion that while you're right we did little to address a major concern at wide receiver, it's an issue that wouldn't have been resolved by drafting a guy anyway. Now, I do think drafting a guy would have helped us in the future -- and that is a BIG concern. It's imperative we get younger.
But in my opinion, as to your original theory about us being screwed if TO goes down -- well, yes, you're absolutely right.
My only asterisk is that I think this same concern applies to a lot of teams. I'm holding my breath that Romo doesn't get hurt, because Lord knows we don't have a capable player backing him up. Yet, like at receiver, I don't think drafting a player last weekend would have helped ease that concern.
I just don't get what other kind of response you're anticipating from me or anyone else. Am I supposed to just jump up and down, screaming that we didn't get a receiver? Rub my hands together and create a TO replacement?
Again, our success is heavily reliant on TO's health and continued success. It's just the way it is. We're in trouble if something happens to him.
