Jerry on how Eagles construct their roster vs how the Cowboys do

Everybody just wants somebody to blame, I don’t like Jerry either, but this franchise is worth a zillion dollars because we keep winning just not in the playoffs and that’s not anybody’s fault but the players and coaches

No big deal, agree to disagree. My personal opinion is that the one ultimately in charge of team roster construction bares a majority of accountability to team success or failure.
In my opinion, that falls on the team GM

So I guess since the Cowboys GM is the only one that hasn't changed it seems like an awful strange coincidence to me based off 30 years of failure.
Regardless of coarch or even quarterback.

And no, regular season wins don't equal success imo.

I have always embraced the Landry/Johnson standard of winning as The Cowboys Way based off the team's successful 1970s and early 1990s performances.
I have never compromised my belief that those 2 men firmly established what I considered to be The Cowboys Way.
But then there seems that a whole different standard of expectation of winning emerged and has remained with a lot of fans of this team post 1995.
But my previously mentioned standard of winning for the Dallas Cowboys football team remains.

The same guy thats been in charge of building the team since 1995 has probably contributed to lowering those other fan expectations based off such prolonged playoff failure.

Just my opinion.

I was not happy that Jerry fired Tom. So tex wouldn’t have to. Yes I still believe in Mr. cowboy, but it’s getting tougher. Good post.
Do I like Jerry as a GM. No
Has he given us winning teams, yes
But we’re always lacking that one something. Is that just the NFL today or is he really messing things up. I think it’s just the NFL today. It takes a lot of luck, not just skill anymore to win that ring.

He’s not even close to being the organization. Assistant coaches, water, boys, or girls. Your training staff for the health of the players. And I haven’t even touched locker room organization. Jerry has done a great job. People just don’t like him. They need somebody to blame.
