Perkins played over his career 14 game schedules and spent time at full back. Dont think this is a great comp. Plus the it was an expansión team and a bottom dweller half of Perkins career.
Perkins played 107 games for the Cowboys in an era where running the ball was more important than the pass. Zeke played 106 games for the Cowboys. So the stats are relevant.

Exactly, and, what a coincidence to say that the same week that Jerry and his friend Robert are going to be sharing the same stadium as their teams battle each other? It's an absolute disgrace the middle finger that Jerry just did. I didn't think about the aspect of it being a possible middle finger to Zeke, but it is a finger to Jimmy. Especially with this game being on FOX.
Bold> I think that was what I was alluding to. ;)

Perhaps, and I do think Jerry should approach him. Regardless, the right thing needs to be done. An apology needs to be made by Jerry, and Jimmy needs to be in the ROH. If for no other reason than to do what is right.
Right??? That’s laughable. Not until his last breath. Still amazes me how many fans still don’t get our owners priorities.

As a matter of fact it supports how meaningless our ROH has become under Jethro this era .

Honestly, the lift in his suite is so big because it's the only thing that can fit his massive head trying to get into his box.
There is an elevator that goes from his suite, to another private booth next level down, and goes down to the field level. Where he can get to the media room and locker room within a few minutes.

If you ever seen the small booth opposite side of the field of the announcers booth. But smaller. That is where he can go and dicusss things in private away from the crowd and noise. It has TV monitors and video equipment as well.

And what this team is about. The worst of it is, we have had numerous teams since Jimmy that were either championship caliber or very close to it. Yet, for one reason or another, be it poor coaching (Garrett), bad luck, or injuries, those teams haven't been able to breach past the divisional round.

I did not know that. All I know is that Jerry's ego is massive, and it's unfortunate that he can't bring himself to do what's right.

Went to a season ticket holders thing one time, but didn’t get there until an hour before it ended.
The cheerleaders had left. As there were photo ops with them. The SB trophies never arrived so no fan got a photo with them.
there was hardly anyone there. We were talking to a security guard as he came up to and and said sorry, every thing was cleared out already.

so he gave us a behind the scenes tour of things not really allowed. At least not at that time. So he said. He took us to that booth, and some other areas. Explained a lot of behind the scenes stuff. This was around 2012.

now no need to get silly those guys cant do what emmitt did but the others most definately could. Murray put up the best season in cowboys history. Hershel could have too. It would be mind boggling to see what a prime hershel would have done with the 90s line. That isnt to say that emmitt didnt have a role in the success but that was the best line ever assembled. to discount that when discusssing the running game of the 90s is not being genuine

If you're saying any RB can come in and win multiple championships then you're also saying Emmitt had nothing to do with it. To discount what he meant to that team isn't genuine at all.

I’d argue most of those teams weren’t championship caliber overall.

Just like last 2 years. We weren’t good enough to get past divisional round. SF was the better team.

And I’d argue GB was prob the better team both losses in 2014 and 2016 definitely had better QB and HC. 2018 Rams had better team.

2007 is perhaps only divisional round where I’d argue we had better team . But then NY proved they were playing better that time of year by going on to beat the Patriots which I don’t believe we would have.

But this is a core issue with our fanbase . Some actually believe we have had championship caliber teams. When we really haven’t. This has helped spur support for our ownership which Jethro was played to the hilt.

I still don’t believe this current team is championship caliber. It’s a good team but not as good as a few other teams which will probably stop them again.

Is Jerry trying to make a mockery of the ROH? I’m gonna lose it if he inducts Zeke. The guy made 3 pro bowls in his career. That not nearly good enough.

R.I.P Dallas Cowboys ....now it is The Jones' Circus.
Right. And the class and well respected franchise many of us grew up loving , only remains in name .

We have the memories which will always be in our hearts. But Jethro has destroyed what this franchise stood for.

He’s been able to string everyone along growing the popularity and hying the iconic brand he inherited. He’s a masterful salesman and promoter.

He’ll probably enshrine #21 and #4 together .

Like he’ll prob do #9 and #82.

Define good enough in Jethro’s mind and priorities,

And some fans keep falling for it saying Jerry has more SB's then Tom or Jimmy. Landry and Johnson built teams and Jerry has destroyed a once great franchise. I'll always love the Cowboys for what they were. They haven't been that in nearly 30 years.
