Yep...We as Dallas Cowboy fans are screwed for the foreseeable future...Jimmy Johnson was the lead shielding and Jerry Jones is the kryptonite of his own franchise.

lol it is a 2 hr show ~!Can anyone recap?
no. there was mass banning after the Chicago game where he threw 5 ints. You're wrong......Romo is beloved on this board. Just read all the defense for him. His interceptions are generally dismissed.
If the refs don't call a bogus offside penalty on Ware when the defense got them off the field on 3rd down and about to punt, instead the Giants score a Td a few plays later with Amani Toomer and go up 7-0 who knows how that game turns out? That Td changed the complexion of the game early and the Giants got confidence.Crayton....still bugs me hearing that name
Was granted one of the easiest go ahead TDs and gives up the route....then in first half drops a huge first down that would have been a massive chunk play or argurably a TD
Single handily left 14pts off the board
I thought this year that maybe the cowboys are close and jerry and his crew were better than I thought.Yep...We as Dallas Cowboy fans are screwed for the foreseeable future...
The defense had a helluva goaline stand right before Romo threw the pick 6. Bradie James made a great tackle.Yup, was this also the game we had a dropped TD in the endzone too? Can't remember
We had more rushing yards, passing yards, controlled TOP, more plays, first downs, and etc
However we had 11 penalties vs 3 penalties
Cowboys should have won that game by two scores minimum. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Crayton calls out Romo but he left 2 TDs off the board and nearly 100 yards lol
Curious. I have been a CowboysZone member and/or moderator longer than Romo's active playing career. In your opinion, what was the overall ratio of critical posts and/or threads for Romo's performance to non-critical posts/threads made here from 2006 to 2015? Non-critical to critical ratio examples: 90/10, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75. Those are examples only. You're wrong......Romo is beloved on this board. Just read all the defense for him. His interceptions are generally dismissed.
I'm going by what I view on the posts, especially on the subject of QB leadership, IQ, mental state, toughness, playoff wins, playoff results, chances to get in the playoffs, excuses afforded, and so on. Have no idea of exact numbers and wondered why that would matter.....as a defense or justification? We're allowed opinions within board rules, far-fetched or not. But if we viewed the scales.......we definitely know the landslide winner as a favorite on this board between #8 and #4. And both have been participants in Cowboy playoff futility.Curious. .....we could keep counting.no. there was mass banning after the Chicago game where he threw 5 ints.
And dropped a catch that had no one around him. And yeah gave up on a TD route. Wonder if he was paid . Just wondering. Because he literally dropped a 10 yard pass that he would have scored on and then turned around and stopped on a easy TD route.. He knew it was coming..Crayton....still bugs me hearing that name

Pot meet Kettle....self awarness is at an all time low i see....The people who think Romo was a choker simply buy into the trash media talking heads for clicks or look at stats at face value. It's almost the opposite. During his tenor he was the highest rated or near the highest rated quarterbacm depending on year on 4th quarter and overtime qbr. Better then Brady, Rodgers, rivers most years.
Did he have his *** moments in the playoffs...sure but if you look deeper past the stats he wasn't that bad in the playoffs at all. Well except the Vikings game when the entire team got demolished. Should have beat the Packers with that bs call. Nothing else he could do agaisnt the Giants as he can't catch the ball too. We should have beat them by 2 scores. He did enough to win those games
The Romo a choker thing is laughable. Most of them just try to throw out his post season record to compare to Dak for whatever loser reason.
LOL...Dallas runs a billion-dollar business like it's a mom-and-pop store on the worst corner stand in America. It's just unbelievably sad. Like watching someone do something dumb in a car crash and in your mind, you're hollering "no".............Wish I never heard of Jerry Jones...I thought this year that maybe the cowboys are close and jerry and his crew were better than I thought.
Then the last few games of the season, and the then the GB disaster, and the cherry on top was passing on BB and other coaches to bring mike
back just shocked me ! lol I still cant believe they passed on BB. So I gave up totally on the cowboys now.
Still fun to laugh at and follow them, but I dont expect them to ever get past div round. I thought this season they would for sure do that lol
but then GB just knocks them out in WC round ! wow then they bring mike back over BB and are so cheap they dont want to pay BB 20 mil,
and dont want to pay mike 6 mil to do nothing!.
I really think now the only reason they brought mike back, is to make him earn the 6 mil !!!! they are so tight they cant eat the 6 mil and hire
another HC ! really sad, no wonder he has 8 billion, I bet jerry is a cheap tipper too.
Thats why they are cheap in FA too, it is just how their minds work.
Where is this intricate conspiracy theory coming from? Who asked for 'exact numbers'??? I asked for an opinion and you are making yourself out to be a martyr for the defense.I'm going by what I view on the posts, especially on the subject of QB leadership, IQ, mental state, toughness, playoff wins, playoff results, chances to get in the playoffs, excuses afforded, and so on. What does beloved mean? To me, it equates to Romo being so appreciated that he has been held above criticism. You're wrong......Romo is beloved on this board. Just read all the defense for him. His interceptions are generally dismissed.
Wow. A point is being made here. Am I headed for a personal attack? I explained my thoughts (we all got 'em)) that were general to any board reader who responded, just in kind, the circle of responses, we are in now. I'm good with my thoughts. You pretty much nailed the "beloved"......at least the "held above criticism" part. Discussions of Witten yield that too. And no rings by anyone.....years past and now.Where is this intricate conspiracy theory coming from? Who asked for 'exact numbers'??? I asked for an opinion and you are making yourself out to be a martyr for the defense.
Again, you said:
What does beloved mean? To me, it equates to Romo being so appreciated that he has been held above criticism.
You state 'just read ALL the defense for him'. I never stated any members have not defending him in the past or even now about his playing career. That said, I have read and review waaaaaay more posts and threads by waaaaaay more members for waaaaay over a decade than you. I have read a lot of defense of Romo over the years. I have read a lot of vitriol for Romo for just as long.
This is the best part. You say his 'interceptions are generally dismissed'.
1. Romo has been heavily criticized on this board.
2. You emphasize how much other members are defending him THEN offer nothing that relates in words just how much other members ARE defending him
3. Saying Romo's interceptions are generally dismissed must be coming from reading posts saying his interceptions were no big deal, which is cool, except for the fact THERE HAVE BEEN THOUSANDS OF POSTS MADE ON THIS SITE BY MEMBERS CRITICIZING HIS INTERCEPTIONS WHEN HE PLAYED FOR DALLAS.
All I asked for was your opinion of how bad you thought Romo was defended by fellow members on this board since he became a starting quarterback. I even simplied it in terms of possible ratios. An answer could have been something as simple as, "I think the board was 90/10 in love with Romo."
Instead, I got... Just re-read your own reply. It speaks volumes for wherever on Earth (or hell) your mind went to.
Thanks for that at least (no real specificity). I will not address the additional conspiracy theory nonsense. You pretty much nailed the "beloved"......at least the "held above criticism" part.
You good? I hope one of our new or future QBs get us into February play, I hope talking Micah does better, I hope our top WR doesn't pout so early, and I hope we get team improvements, and I hope you're good with it.Thanks for that at least (no real specificity). I will not address the additional conspiracy theory nonsense.
They're muddying the water with their relative comparisons,,, sad really. The people who think Romo was a choker simply buy into the trash media talking heads for clicks or look at stats at face value. It's almost the opposite. During his tenor he was the highest rated or near the highest rated quarterbacm depending on year on 4th quarter and overtime qbr. Are you? You turned a simple request for more info into an unnecessary drama. You good?
I will hope for any quarterback on the current roster to succeed but I am honestly not very hopeful at this point. I would place my hope into any future acquired quarterback but I have little faith in the one individual who can make that happen.I hope one of our new or future QBs get us into February play, I hope talking Micah does better, I hope our top WR doesn't pout so early, and I hope we get team improvements, and I hope you're good with it.
Drama? Ok.Are you? You turned a simple request for more info into an unnecessary drama.

I am not concerned with Parsons or Lamb. They are both pieces Jones can exploit both in marketing and on the field.
All fans, including myself, wanting the franchise to improve, hopes for overall improvement. Why you think I am not 'good with improvement' is a you thing only.
