To sort of quote Rod Stewart "You bear it well".One person's "eloquent" is another person's "cross to bear".

Beautiful!Thankyouthankyou everyone for your kind words
When I figure out just what that means, I'll be back to comment on it.One person's "eloquent" is another person's "cross to bear".
When I'm in traffic and eloquently call someone an *******, that person is an ******* and it's their cross to bear. When I figure out just what that means, I'll be back to comment on it.
Ohhhhhh, you are the master of eloquence. I am so good at that, I consider myself bilingual. When I'm in traffic and eloquently call someone an *******, that person is an ******* and it's their cross to bear.
Let's hear it for Mrs. Colo, keeping the musical standards of the forest alive in Colorado. And I am not sure if those cats were chasing turkeys or just running away. I gotta say, I run into a man singing show tunes in the woods, I am running...…..into the arms of a mama grizzly.Good morning Pops and Zoner Friends,
I am sure that, much like me, you occasionally get a song stuck in your head. For no apparent reason, you find yourself humming or strutting (oh, yes, I strut) to some long-forgotten tune. Well, it happened to me this morning.
I was outside at sunrise walking the two backup cats, enjoying a cup of tea and surveying the forest behind our house. With no warning, I started humming, then singing and eventually strutting to the "Pirates of Penzance" song, "I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General ". No idea where it came from - haven't seen or even thought about the Gilbert and Sullivan musical in several decades.
Everything seemed perfectly normal - me singing and the cats chasing turkeys - until my wife called out from the balcony, "what's wrong with you?". I have to admit, it wasn't said in an endearing manner, either.
I am still smiling and am now in the perfect mood for a Cowboys Eagles game.
Happy Sunday to everyone!
I failed to mention, I was still in my housecoat and big fluffy house shoes. Quite a vision.Let's hear it for Mrs. Colo, keeping the musical standards of the forest alive in Colorado. Good afternoon Pops and my fellow crazy Zoners. It's Cowboys Day! I hope we finish out the season like last week. We mean business and this time it's personal! The Patriots time is up, they're practically the walking dead and just refuse to lay down. Can anyone see why we were voted the best fan base in the NFL. Yes, it was an actual study of fans and we're #1. Jerry Jones could not buy this loyalty. It's like RGV's current avatar, it's in our DNA. Once upon a time, long, long ago it wasn't, but now it's in there and not going anywhere.
I made some lemon blueberry bread yesterday. That reminds me, I've got to mop after the unfortunate flour and baking powder explosion. I didn't get mad at myself either, this was long over due. It didn't turn out well which was disrespectful of the bread after all the mess and trouble I went through to make it.
Thanks for the story, Colo. That's some classic stuff and bless your wife's heart for being concerned about her husband playing Gene Kelly with The Back Up Cats.
Enjoy the game everyone and don't try to catch the ball, RGV.
