How dare anyone talk to the media. Watch out Marcus Spears.

What good did it do for the team that he used the media to say that?

The only guy who's worth a damn in the secondary (as of right now), and you find something negative to say about him.

Impressive.

Thanks. I think.

I think Scandrick is pretty good. I think Jenkins has a solid career ahead of him as a 'cover CB'.

Let's see if I can blow this thing out of the water.

What about #38, do you want him back next season?

I wonder, if we created one big sticky thread that had our roster (front office, coaches, players) in it, and then links by each players names for each thread wailing, pissing, or bemoaning their play, or their attitude--anything that basically questioned their value on the roster--how long would it be before we have a link for every player? Assuming the Witten-is-the-Snitch stuff counts, we'd just need one looney person to think Ware is underperforming, and I'd say we'd have that puppy completed before the end of February. Who's with me?

Talking about being a hypocrite, D.C. Fanatic.

You bash Phillips when things go bad, but when his defense was playing great down the stretch and the offense was giving games away this year, you didn't give Garrett heat.

You bash Phillips for being a sucky head coach, but Newman calls on "coaches and players" to be accountable for their play on the field and jobs and you do a 180. Phillps called him out in the media, and Newman saw the ship about to sink and told Phillips to save the ship. He just did it in a way that you dispise. Who was on the horse trailor after that game. Ware and Newman.

The great Bill Parcells wouldn't allow that. Who cares. The message was sent, and someone needed to say it. Not clamping down on Garrett cost this team a playoff spot, because Garrett is in charge of Romo. If Garrett just manages some games better, your team is in the playoffs. Forget the structural problems with the street ball offense and some of the play calling.

Dallas was second in turnovers this year, and it killed them, so bash Jason Garrett for allowing Romo to throw floating picks at Pittsburgh and for running Crickett on 4th and inches or for throwing 35 yard bombs on 4th and 3 or for running Marion Barber 8 times and Felix 0 or for allowing Romo to get hit 18 times at Arizona while constantly looking for the big bomb or for not being able to figure out the Ravens' defense until the late 4th...

I hope the Terence Newman fans remember this stuff, because the guy gave up 3 plays of any meaning when he came back after the bye while covering the other teams' best WR all over the field. He had 4 INTs, and if he played on the best WR all year and was healthy, that number would have at least doubled. Doesn't everyone always say, well, he doens't get many....

Newman went to the media and told them he played his worst game ever after the Washington game. He didn't use the injury for the excuse. He didn't complain about "schemes". He owned up. I guess you have a selective memory.

This guy played some great football whether some of you want to recognize it or not.

As far as some of his comments. What do you want him to do? Go into depression when he played the best he could. He can look forward to next season, because he played some great football, and team is going to make some changes. I guess you want a depressed, pity part. We'll go have it yourself.

Always thought T-New was a good player......but never a shutdown corner.

Bill Parcells let Newman follow 2 guys all over the field in his 4 years of coaching the Cowboys.

Santan Moss (The Cowboys Killer)

Newman shut him down after 1 assignment.

Steve Smith

Newman shut him down 2 times. Who else has followed Smith all over the field and shut him down. Who else has done that.

Wade Phillips gives Newman the job this year, and he did an outstanding job.

Santana Moss couldn't torment Jacques Reeves or Aaron Glenn and beat the Cowboys this year.

How dare anyone talk to the FWST. Watch out Marcus Spears.

Again, where is the proof that Jason Witten is the mole. I'm still waiting. This seems to have ingnited the Newman bashing. Newman used the word "they" to refer to unnamed sources and called them cowards. Again, they are cowards. JFE or anyone has no solid prove that would stand up in a courtroom, but she spins an article, and Newman is bashed. Jason Witten has been in this situation before at Tennessee, and he didn't sing any covert messages to the media.

Perhaps, you should direct your anger at an offense that turned the ball over so many times that crucial games were lost. I don't hear you disowning Owens or Romo. You know they kind of called out Jason Garrett and our offensive schemes. Where is your heat for Jason Garrett? He made $ 3 million dollars and nearly got Romo killed in Arizona, and he led a turnover machine.

Terence Newman called out the cowards that need to be gutted from this organization and he gets this. However, Romo and Owens call out "our schmes" on offense, and they get a pass from you.

What ever, like Terence Newman cares what you think.

What are you even talking about.

I could care less about the T.O.-Witten-Romo thing when it comes to Newman.

And who gives T.O. and Romo a pass on anything?

You are just going off without knowing anything.

And if Newman is such a 'big man' about calling out cowards why didn't he do it in the locker room? Or speak up in the team meeting they had? Or call a team meeting since he's a leader?

Your 'big man' needs a camera or a mic in front of him to call someone out?

That's weak and don't think his teammates don't know it. You must have forget about Newman throwing Roy under the bus last summer. Again, another example of him in the media being the good guy everyone has him labeled as here.

I don't hate the guy, but he's getting too comfortable thinking it's ok to 'pop off' to the media. He's falling into the wrong club IMO.

Mrs. Newman, calm down. I don't want to harm your boy or anything.

And you must have missed the part about a month ago when I said I didn't want anyone on this coaching staff back and I never wavered on that til this day.

And I believe if you ask around people will tell you I am a full fledged member of the 'I can't stand T.O. anymore club'.

I ripped Romo on my last show for his stupid INT and in fact said it was the turning point in the game.

You don't have the facts wrong, but in fact don't have any facts at all.

And I never said Newman wasn't a good player either.

So call up Terence and tell him know you love him and wish him a happy new year for me.
