Mike Fisher: Flat no on Hardy.
Is he being investigated for arson?
I haven't heard any rumors regarding visits or interest from any other teams. Given his history, he has very little leverge regarding contracts.
I want him back, but I'm afraid that if he isn't happy with the money he's making, he would be more trouble than he's worth. A healthy, happy and focused McClain is a force and a great guy to have on your team. But if he's not happy, he would become a distraction.
...and that's my cue to leave the thread seeing that I helped lead it astray. : Bottom line. Professional sports are businesses. Of course McClain is asking for "too much." That's the norm now. I'm waiting for the day for someone to question why a professional athlete is asking for too little. This is getting way off topic here. Lets get back to Ro. That's more pertinent to the majority of posters I think.
What do you mean "nuclear", "nachos" or "ninja"? I'm confused?

It makes me a little sad thinking that I will never live long enough to see that day happen.
OK, I asked nicely. Now, I'm telling you guys. Get this discussion back on track. It's getting to be more political then football. This thread will get locked if you continue to take it down this path.
Going rate for a quality starting ILB this year seems to be between $5M - $7M i.e.:
David Harris re-signed with the New York Jets for a three-year, $21.5 million deal, and Rey Maualuga is staying with the Cincinnati Bengals for $15 million over three years. Curtis Lofton, who was released by the New Orleans Saints, landed a three-year, $18 million contract with the Oakland Raiders.
The Boys certainly could structure a deal much in the same way as they did Hardy, pay as you with the option to realize a nice contract if he performs.
I would think we should be able to get Ro in the $5M range.
I understand the concerns, but he does bring a attitude to the D with his psychical play.
I will believe the divorce angle when it comes from someone other then Fisher or another team signs him.
Lock it, Lock it, Lock it!!!

Yeah, what happened to the story of him "being happy and love playing for the Cowboys and people who have his back?"
Good point. Only thing to me that should be a factor is David Harris has proven for years to be a main cog for the Jets. Lofton has had a good career with the Saints and was let go for cap reasons. Maualuga don't know how he has faired in Cincy. I know you don't pay for past performance, but Harris is the exception for the Jets. Ro has not shown the past history IMO to be afforded a long term deal with those kinds of numbers.
