At this point, I think we have a better chance at being 7-9 than the Skins have at going 6-10.

Well, I certainly would not be surprised if Dallas went 7-9 or 6-10, but I wouldn't if Washington did either.

Again, the shleves of the free agent market become more sparse every hour. It's nice to be patient, but soon you will find that patience leaves you with next to nothing to choose from.

Who is off the shelf that you think we were legitimately targeting? Longwell? I doubt the FO was ever after Bentley. So who did we miss out on, huh? I just don't see it.

If you are talking about TO, I don't want the team wrecker. I don't consider that a good thing. But for the sake of arguement, do you think this is the grand plan? What if the Eagles trade TO to the Chiefs tomorrow for a conditional sixth round pick, and the Chiefs immediately restructure his deal? Then what about the grand plan? Do you think the Eagles even want to take the chance that TO will end up in their division? You cannot plan your entire free agency approach on a player that you don't even know will ever be available. If the Cowboys are doing that, they are not as smart as we had previously thought.

I have no idea what the grand plan is. I don't even know if we're targeting TO. I do believe there are many eggs in the basket, though. Plenty of guys who would be good fits for our team out there.

Cap hell? When will the Skins ever witness this cap hell you talk about? Every single year there's rumored to be in cap hell but it "NEVER" happens.

Man, these woodworkers sure are enjoying their March championship.

They always do. Which makes the inevitable failure that much more fun to watch. :D

guys, you're falling into the Skin fan's trap, they know how unstable most of you are already, and they just fan the flames by posting another overspending by them...don't be so easily moved

Please save the envy for a team that you can legitimately be jealous of.

like the Browns, at least they shelled out for an All-Pro, and TD machine

You'll be changing your mind on that after this season. ;)

we'll see....but I'd swap this staff in a heart beat for Washington's

most of the guys on this staff probably wont be employed long in the NFL after Parcells is gone

I don't consider 10-6, sweeping us, and a playoff win failure. It's a step closer than us. I think that most Skins fans are satisfied with the improvement they made last year. I still hold out hope we will find a way to better that.

Maybe......just maybe.......it's in the process of working as we speak. I hope not, but I could easily see the Skins winning this division if the season started today.

but it doesn't.

Dallas has plenty of money to spend in the market. does anybody here really think Jerry Jones is content to sit on his wallet?

he'll take a few swings before this thing is over - prolly including a "haymaker" or two.

HOF coach yes, based on what he did a long time ago

great staff? absolutely not

we've got money to improve talent, but so far are moving slowly

David

that HOF coach did a hell of a job this year. you'd think he'd have earned a measure of respect, not that he had to.

and the staff? al saunders and greg williams are what? chopped liver? are you sane??

You do realize that last year, it at least seemed like they were attempting to go about it the proven way, right? Quiet in FA, solid draft, etc. And that they've swung to the complete other side of the spectrum, right? When teams spend like this, they fail. It never fails. We will have the last laugh this year.

hey, we're proud of how our boys improved last year too, what happened to building through the draft? at one point in time it was thought to be a good idea, but I guess not anymore on here

it's either we spend "too much", or "too little" in free agency, which one is it guys?

I love the Gibbs coaching staff and yeah, he did an awesome job last yr

Al Saunders and Greg Williams might be the best cooridnators in football

He sat on it two years ago. It's great to hope we take a swing, but I just hope that by the time Jones is ready to throw a punch, that he has something left in the ring to even throw a punch at.

A fighter may often wait around too long to throw that big punch and go for the knockout, often times he finds himself laying on the mat, with nothing to show.

It's the shiny toy syndrome. some Cowboy fans are just jealous of the Skins offseason escapades, without ever really taking into account the history of the thing. They'll get it come regular season. And I'm sure then they'll laugh along with us - but they won't deserve to - chicken littles.....
