There you go again not being able to read.

Carr was 8% of the cap. Norman is 9% of the cap. That is similar, not identical.

Carr 1st year cap was $3.2 m v. cap of $120.6 in 2012. That's 2.65%. Total guarantee was $25.5 m,

Can't calculate Norman's % against cap without knowing his bonus and salary, but his guarantee is supposedly $50 m.

NFL cap in 2012 was $120.6. It is $143.28 in 2016. 19 % higher.

Norman's guarantee is 49 % higher than Carr's, v. a 19% raise in the cap. How is it similar?

Obviously, you don't know meaning of the word "similar". So, you have poor math and poor English skills. Got anything else?

Nice try.......keep manipulating the numbers.....you will come close to a point soon enough

The cap is 155.2 this year. Is that similar to right or wrong?

Cap of $155.2 is a raise of 28%. So, 49% v. 28%. Still not similar.

And Carr's first year was 2.65% of cap. The same for $155.2 would be $4.1m. You think Norman's first year hit will only be $4.1m?

APY was 8% of the cap for Carr and 9% for Norman. That is similar and it is all I was suggesting.

I also said "a lot like Dez" and 5/75m is "a lot like Dez"

But keep arguing your stupid point like your in front of the Supreme Court.

another poster that doesn't know what similar means and what part of 5/75m isn't like Dez' 5/75m

You said it was very similar. To Carr's deal with inflation.

Please explain.

Also Dez is on a 5 year 70m dollar deal.

Tell me how much the cap has risen since 2012.

Tell me how much bigger Norman's deal is over Carr's from an AAV and guaranteed money basis.

You are comparing the APY of Carr's final contract year to Norman's first year, which you can't possibly know, since it hasn't been announced.

Additionally, you are including Carr's restructures in his APY.

But go ahead, keep arguing. Amazing how facts keep getting in the way for your argument.

not at all. Carr's APY is 10m, Norman's is 15m. has nothing to do with first year, last year or restructures.

Carr's deal would be 13m today and I think that is similar to the 15m an All Pro just got.

I had a dream last night. Josh Norman signed and Dallas drafted Ramsey. Instant top 5 secondary. Who needs a pass rush?

We do - I really dislike the notion that a great secondary can overcome an anemic pass rush. It's totally the opposite of reality. No, an anemic pass rush can make a top secondary look completely average. It all starts up front.
