Straw Poll: Right now...Do you want Romo?

Your logic, or lack thereof, has been exposed. You haven't made a single point in this thread for keeping Bledsoe. You simply keep saying "he gives us the best chance to win." You have an irrational distrust for Romo and you've had it for a long time. It's been evident. There's no reason talking to you about this subject with you.
Was this a personal attack? Oh woe is me.

[/joke mode off]

I don't know how you can keep saying I dislike Romo.

Please, don't talk to me on the subject. Run away. You are obviously insulted if people disagree with you. I disagree with you, so be insulted. I could give a flying fig.

Right when I saw this poll I said Bledsoe. And I voted that way. But we play Houston. I wouldn't mind seeing Romo play against a bad team like that. But if we were playing a good team I would rather have Bledsoe. Romo against the Eagles today gets us killed.

Pass protection. It's an interesting concept but it has been proven to work.

Yes but Bledsoe can demoralize the Oline because he holds the ball too long. Romo can at least buy some time.

Yawn. Still waiting for a reason to keep Bledsoe. Have you come up with one yet? After all this time, surely you've come up with one.

So you are saying that Romo would have thrown more than 3 picks and fumbled the ball more than 3 times?

as well as get sacked 7 times...

also, what would of been better than to throw to a wide open TO in the middle for a TD at the end of the game instead of 3 yards ahead of Witten directly into the arms of Lito Sheppard. Can you imagine the crowd then.

How about how long he held that ball, all kinds of time, and then still get sacked?!?!?!?!

TO calling for Romo

See, this I agree with. The thing you have to understand though is that very few teams can do what the eagles did today even though they know how. Hell, the Eagles couldn't repeat this every single time. That's reality of the game of football. if this weren't true there would be an undefeated team every single year. Sometimes the other team just steps up and plays well. Today the Eagles played great. We didn't. It wasn't just Bledsoe out there struggling.

Or will any of you be honest enough to admit that?

Great?

No.

The Eagles played alright, but they didn't play great.

The Cowboys gift wrapped them 10 points in the first Quarter. Bledsoe's fumble and 3 INT's, underthrow to T.O., numerous bad passes and horrible decisions in the pocket are what kept them in the game, and subsequently led to them taking the lead.

Now, don't get Bob Dole wrong, the Eagles pass rush and offense had a little to do with that, but it was Bledsoe choking on offense that kept giving them those opportunities.

I do agree with that which is why I'm not a big fan of his.

Sadly, if Bledsoe plays against Houston. I predict Mario Williams will have a career day. That is just our luck..

Sure lets put Romo in there because he has shown us that he is more than ready to step in and take over this team. Some of you guys kill me. One minute you're praising Parcells and how great of a coach he is and the other you're thinking you know more than him. You can't have it both ways, either he is starting Bledsoe because he is stubborn or simply because right now Bledsoe is the better QB.

Could Romo come in and do better than Bledsoe? Sure he could, but he could also come in and do a whole lot worse. Are you really saying that at 2-2 you're ready to give up the season and start playing a guy who doesn't have a single pass in a regular season game?

We lost today to a team that was clearly prepared to play us and designed a defensive scheme to expose a couple of our weaknesses and that is a poor offensive line and immobile QB. I'm not ready to cash in the season simply to see what we have in Romo. It's only 4 games and at 2-2 we are clearly still in the NFC East and playoff race.

You still here? I thought you were running away from this?

I've given you my reasons, you've rejected them. I bet the coaching staff will agree with me. But we shall see. Oh, and don't think I'm saying the Coaching staff is all knowing, because I question them constantly.

I just don't agree with this move at this point. I see no reason for it. It's Commanders-like in over-reaction. I prefer not to go there.

Please don't respond to me if you're going to do that 3rd person crap.

I think the Eagles defense played great today. If you don't so be it. Both teams defenses outshone the offenses minus a couple of big plays on both sides. The score is an aberation.

A La Henson in the Bears game. Where do you pull the plug when we are what down by 7, 14, or 21 by half time.

i'd give Romo what Drew was given today... he put is in a hole from the first series to the final play with turnovers and stupidity.

Romo would carve 'em up next week and give the team a lift.
