Straw Poll: Right now...Do you want Romo?

Enjoy your wait. You've offered nothing to change my mind. Not that I thought you could.
Wow, sounds like I got under your skin.

One thing about Romo that people need to remember is T.O. makes a bad QB better than he really is, all you have to do is throw him the ball (Bledsoe never even looks his way half the time).

The 49ers were one of the top teams in the NFC with Jeff Garcia at QB, and that had A LOT to do with T.O.

Romo and T.O. seem to have a good relationship and they could do some great things on the field if given the chance - shame we'll probably never get to see it.

I have not read through this entire thread so this may have been posted.

I have felt all along that Bledsoe gives us the best chance to make the playoffs.

But what if we do make the playoffs, any playoff caliber defense will do the same thing to us and Bledsoe as we saw today.

The Bears, Carolina, Philly, Seattle.

They all know right where he will be standing 3 seconds after the snap on passing downs.

I was surprised they didn't blitz more.

Romo's maneuverability at least would take away their total dominance of our OL on passing plays.

Although Romo has not played, he is way ahead of a rookie.

We may think about making the switch and Bledsoe can be the vet backup.
I think that's exactly right....

Bledsoe has some strengths, but his weaknesses behind a less than perfect offensive line mean that the Cowboys will be beaten by the better pressure teams.

Sad, but true.

It's time for Plan B (Romo).

The only thing he's said is, "Bledsoe gives us the best chance to win." Talk about a lame argument. I didn't mean to offend you BP, but it's good to see you stick up for your friends.

Not sticking up for hos and you did not offend me.

Just think no matter what he says at this point you will disagree with.

You don't share his opinions so you pull the he is picking on me card, than once that did not work you keep going on about waiting.

Keep waiting because he gave his opinon whether you liked it or not.

Just because you don't agree with his opinions does not mean he did not answer you.

We are all upset with the loss, and rightfully so.

Sometimes we only hear or read what we want to hear or read.

He's not sticking up for me. If he felt I was wrong he'd say so. he does that quite frequently.

I also didn't say Bledsoe "gives us the best chance to win." That is how you're interpreting it and that's your right.

I pulled no card. Just asking him to stick to arguments not personal attacks.

You heard it hear first... the announcement will come Tuesday

Perfect game to get Romo's feet wet and give him the confidence to step up and dominate v. the Giants...

He beats the Giants on 10/23 and will remain the starter the rest of the year.

This is not the end of the world, and this loss may be a blessing in disguise if we get a quarterback in there who can win games rather than single-handedly lose 4-6 each year.

Romo can take us to the Superbowl... I say he is better than Roethlisberger was and we have better weapons. Who says a young QB can't take a team to the Superbowl?

Are you saying this is some inside info that you know? Or are you guessing?

Will I hear a whoosh? Or will he finally get it?

All that means is you can't handle it that I have the temerity to disagree with you because I didn't attack you personally or in any other way. If I do, by all means report me. Please. But don't whine about my disagreeing if you can't handle it.

Oh how easily you forget.

What happened on that last interception?

Tight end Jason Witten wasn't going to point the finger after the game. He said he ran the hook like he thought he was supposed to. For whatever reason, Bledsoe thought he was going to come back out for the ball.

Two offensive players told me that Witten did exactly what he was supposed to do. Bill Parcells seemed unclear after the game. We'll find out more tomorrow.

I wouldn't report you even if you called me names directly. However, to say you were subtlely attacking me personally is laughable. I really couldn't care less.

How many great qb's as you put it started for a playoff capable team. Most qb's get thrown into the fire because the team itself has hit rock bottom and they know that they do not thave the personnel to win more than 8 games.

Okay, so I did say it that way. That isn't the way you were quoting me, but it's the same thought. I had previously said several times that Bledsoe earned the job and it hasn't been taken away from him. You rejected that. That is what I meant and what I mean. No handouts.

I get it. You think Bledsoe is better than Romo. I just don't understand why you think so poorly of Romo.

And you realize that means absolutely nothing, right?

We were 2-2 at the beginning of last season too, with "less talent".

This isn't last season. We might be 9-7 again, and if Drew continues like this we might even be worse.

And right now, Bledsoe looks ten times worse than he did at the beginning of last year.

How does a guy who has already lost two games for this team, give them the "best chance to win"?

If you're going with the concept, that Bledsoe is the deciding factor on whether the Cowboys win or lose, then you just don't understand professional football.
