Not many teams turn 7th round picks into players. But yes the Seahawks have obviously been a better run team the last 5 seasons or 10 seasons for that matter.

That Arizona team was playing their backups and had nothing to play for. McFadden had 7 out of 11 starts with 90+ yards. Michael has done nothing to prove he can top that.

The argument is silly, what's done is done. Chances are that 7th round pick will amount to nothing and Michael will out of the league in two years. I am hoping the Cowboys sign Lamar Miller.

I'm not trying to compare CMike with McFadden that wasn't my argument. The Cowboys aren't a well coached/managed team which is why they miss the playoffs most years and are sitting at home with a 4-12 record and the 4th overall pick in the draft.

The running game was the least of our problems but we can do better and shouldn't count on McFadden to continue to be our bell cow. If the draft makes sense for us to take a back or we can land Lamar Miller for a reasonable price, we do it.

Worst case scenario, we roll with McFadden and our running game will instantly be better with a healthy Romo.

When you're the worst team in the league on 3rd and one it's a big problem. When you can't move the chains with your running game and your backs aren't scoring many TD's it puts pressure on your QB which puts you in a deep hole when you're playing with backups most of the season. We won't be rolling with McFadden as the starter next season unless the goal is mediocrity.

Quote me where I stated Rodgers "sucked"? i said he wasn't an overly impressive college QB, I said he was a late first round/early second round talent coming out of college. I said his development from being a QB with poor throwing mechanics to completely changing this up his first few years with the Packers isn't something you can see as a scout.

And you're giving me Romo? Really? Romo also wasn't a very impressive college QB, it was warranted that he was undrafted. He wasn't a day one QB, not even a first or second season QB.

And your argument now is "Team scouts in the top 10-15" suck. Many QBs that are projected to be top 5-15 picks from your crap sites don't often slip like Rodgers did. It was for good reason.

Not to join in the fray but Rodgers was a pretty good college QB and if I remember there was talk about him going #1 overall. It was more about the system he played in at Cal that folks thought was "QB friendly" that caused more questions than anything and probably was the main factor in him falling in the draft.

People talked themselves out of Rodgers and the biggest beneficiary of his success may be Jarred Goff. No one will let him fall as far as Rodgers did and miss out again.

With a healthy Romo on opening day our running game did very little with McFadden averaging 2.7 a carry which is why Romo had to put the ball up 45 times which was more attempts than in any game last season.
