I don't know why so many would be opposed to the pick. I guess it's because of where some draft pundits rate him, but I've seen him in the top five on some boards.
Frankly, I think there are less questions about Elliott than anyone else desired with that pick, including the player I want the most, Bosa. If he could have a Gurley-like impact on our offense, there's certainly nothing wrong with the choice.
Zeke is one of the safest picks outside of Tunsil in this draft, most have Zeke as a top 5 talent and he has very few issues in his game.
The only real question is @#4 or a trade down scenario and most of this is due to the value argument with regard to the RB position in the current landscape.
I can see arguments on both sides, with Zeke you could dominate in the running game considering this line and I understand the preference to address a back in later rounds since the line is solid.
As a prospect, Zeke is a complete back, not quite a Gurley talent wise but the player can catch, run and pass block right out of the gate.
